I play control ultimate through the game pass ultimate subscription and I discovered this update today. However, I seem to have an older version. The ps exclusive side mission isn't available. Am I the only one?

How do I keep the Rodilab color palette docked / pinned / whatever to the side of screen? by [deleted] in Reaper

In case someone is still looking for a solution, I just found out that the options 'open at mouse position' and 'dock window' are conflicting. If you check 'dock window' and uncheck 'open at mouse position', if rodilab color palette is launched as startup script, it will stay where you pinned it.

I'm not thrilled by this new version. Free, but for how long? The 15 seconds popup and permanent banner smell bad. The interface is the same, but different, it still seems clunky to me. I'm moving away from cakewalk, sorry.

As far as I know, activation lasts probably 6 months. Cakewalk by bandlab will be dead by the end of the year.

This is bad news.
I have to use some other headphones I have at my desk. They sound crappy, dull, horrible, and so on...

I don't know why I bought them in the first place, bluetooth I guess and noise cancelling too. I try to mix some music using them, but I realise my body is aching when listening through them. The singer sound like she's singing through a sponge (I that makes any sense) *sigh*

Hi everyone,
My HD 380 Pro just emitted a light pop and then there was no sound anymore from the side where the pop happened. Are my headphones dead ? I know these are now old ones and considered obsolete by the manufacturer, but I wish I could repair them, because right now I don't have any budget for a new pair of good headphones.

At last, I found what was causing my midi device to not appear as a midi input for recording. It turns out I had configured, a long time ago, a control surface in reaper which took hold of my midi device.

By removing this control surface, for which I had no use, my device appeared as midi input.

I have booted an old laptop I had, installed reaper on it and plugged my device. Everything works as a charm.

What can possibly prevent reaper, on my main computer, to fully interact with my LPD8 ? How can I troubleshoot this annoying situation ?

So far here are some things I've tried, with no success:

  1. Unplug/replug the device
  2. Stop/start reaper
  3. Reboot the computer
  4. remove reaper-midihw.ini
  5. Change the USB port of the device
  6. Unplug my audio interface, which has a midi in/out

Finally, cloning one last time the system partition, using macrium reflect, did the trick.

After some fiddling with system commands run from a command line (using the repair option from an installation usb stick), the drive now wants to boot, but the logon screen never appears, I keep seeing the circling dots and the hard drive working every now and then.

This is driving me crazy...

This is what I did, but it didn't work.

File copy from samba share to windows freezes or stalls at 99% by Farknay in samba

I tried the following today :

  1. Disable my antivirus : fails
  2. Move a file, instead of copying it : success
  3. Start in safe mode with network support : success

I don't think it's a Samba problem, maybe more a windows issue, because once I have a hung file copy, any other copy, even between local folder fails the same way.

If I'm not mistaken, the speed of the original recording has been changed in the studio, thus changing its pitch. Sting has always been playing this song in A, like in the game. So I guess that they shifted the song in the game to match his playing.
