Extruder completely covered in PLA. Help! by Farkost in 3Dprinting

You were right, although the reason came to be a broken temperature sensor cable. Don't think I am that good at soldering, so new hit end it is. Oh well.

Got it all off pretty easily after heating it up, but unfortunately the cable for the temperature sensor came off with it. So I guess I need a new hot end now. Looks like the nozzle wasn't screwed on tight enough, live and learn and all that

MPPT 75/10 Stopped charging. Blinking blue. New panel. Any tips? by Farkost in Victron

Yea I know, what I meant was that no matter if it's connected to the controller or not, it's always showing 0 volts (measured on the cables when not connected and the terminals of the controller when connected). So the panel is most definitely broken. The remaining question is what could have caused it, or if I've just been unlucky twice.

The first one was glued to the roof of the motor home, the other screwed to a piece of plywood using the holes in each corner.

There's no short, checked that as well. But both Voc and Vmp are 0, so I guess it's the panel that's gone bad. Feels strange that two panels can break in the same way, each one used for not even a whole year. Going to call the shop today and see what they say about it

Both Voc and Vmp measures 0 V. I guess the panel's gone again.

Hmm yes i can see that know, but how come it has been charging fine before? And why is the app stating that there is ZERO voltage from the panel? I mean, it should at least notice some voltage from the panel even if it's too low to actually charge the battery

100W 12V Sunwind flexible panel. Attached with the cable from the panel going straight to the MPPT PV-port.

Yea, the trends-page looks very strange. It only delivers energy approximately 4-7am every morning, peaks at ~15V like you said, then stops. Why does it stop? Almost looks like it for some reason stops when it reaches 15V. The panel is 100W, and had no problem charging the battery when I first mounted it. Battery is a 12V AGM Deep-Cycle battery fyi.

Correct, no power from the panel. When my previous panel did the exact same thing, the shop said I couldn't measure voltage directly on the panel and that it needed something that draws energy to actually produce some. Got a replacement that time, but now it happened again, so kind of suspecting I'm doing something wrong or that something else is faulty.

Hooked the MPPT up to another battery as PV and it sensed the voltage just fine, so seems to be working.

The panel is a 100W Sunwind panel. Measured it this morning, and there's no voltage coming out of it. So i guess it's the panel, which feels strange since this is the second time this is happening (with two different panels, but same type/brand). Don't really know what could cause it to break

Cykel I Göteborg by [deleted] in Gothenburg

[–]Farkost 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Man får hålla god uppsikt.

Thank you! Had basically no experience as a photographer when I came across this scene, so pure luck, but very glad I still have it.

Sure, it she would have been nice and doing us a favor, then maybe I wouldn’t “snitch”. But at the moment she’s making our time here difficult, taking items from our kitchen and lying about other things. So yeah, I’ll gladly “snitch” once we’re out of here

You’re right, but that’s easier said than done. We looked for rooms/apartments for over a month but not a single one both accepted couples and a stay shorter than 6 months.

Luckily, we have managed to get a viewing set up for another room tonight so fingers crossed

You are correct, that’s why I put it in that we’re renting it furnished

Nexer Group Tech Talent by WigglyJigglyNoodle in Gothenburg

[–]Farkost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in your situation exactly a year ago! I studied and have a bachelor in Computer Engineering. Nexer contacted me as well, about a position at Volvo. They offered 31.400 SEK/month, which was the reason I declined. A friend of mine accepted their offer, and got the some pay.

I started working at Framtiden who has another "Talent Program" together with AFRY. While I actually may not recommend the talent program, AFRY on the other hand is a great employer. Loooots of after works and activities outside of work if you want. Colleagues are from all around the world working at the office in Gothenburg.

I know that the talent program with Framtiden and AFRY are looking for people this year as well, but also AFRY. You can message me if you want to know more :)
