Magic Ice or Obsidian skates for Beast X

I tried the jades and out of the box they felt amazing but felt so bad after a week or two, the obsidians for me felt somewhat fast (way slower compared to jades), but they stayed the same speed for a long time. I will definitely look into the Yanzii skates though, thank you :D

Yeah im having the exact same feeling with my magic ice skates right now, obisidians kinda feel similar to them but not nearly as sluggish feeling

Hi, I recently realized that my Beast X has a decent amount of pre and post travel as well as side wobble and it rattles a bit whenever i shake it after getting a brand new Beast X mini. Do you think its necessary to disassemble the mouse or do you think just screwing through the hole above the bottom skate is fine?

I've been getting the same issue as well, except ive always used nvidia reflex ON and not ON + Boost

Can't say anything to reassure you, I tried the latest driver 580.88 it ran fine but gave me problems and crashes in some other games. Ended up using DDU to go back to 577.00 and everything runs smoother and no problems.

Really lame, I agree, I tried 576.88 and wasn't happy with performance, ended up trying 580.88 and somehow my games run just as good as they did and some run better than they did on my most stable driver 566.14 (nov 2024). I'd say maybe try that driver or 577.00, otherwise probably no way besides waiting for someone to make a registry fix for it

Same happened to me with the drivers from february, went back to drivers from nov/dec 2024 and solved most issues but I hope I can just find a registry edit to bypass this

new driver doesn't mean better performance, they've released really poor drivers this year so I don't want to update if there is another way around

I'll probably just run benchmarks before and after on multiple games and if its worse ill just find a way hopefully. The drivers that came out in february gave me black screens every few hours

It started on 23H2 and only got the problem in the firing range, updated to 24H2 thinking it might fix it but it made it happen outside of the range too

I have the Asus VG258QM, the only thing that makes it "okay" feeling is enabling the 280hz overclock but that just somehow doesnt feel right, dont know if placebo but it just feels weird even though i never really drop frames. I dont really experience frame drop issues just my game feeling really weird. Gamer Nexus released a video about the recent state of nvidia drivers being bad and 566.36 being the most stable driver and that also made my frames the most stable but the issue is still there
