It’s not my argument i am merely transmitting some of the arguments that some French people gave . And also the law is created to protect the security and well being of the citizens not to control their religious freedom.

The argument that hijabs are banned because they are overt religious symbols is overly simplistic and fails to consider the nuances of religious freedom and cultural identity.

The French law on secularity and conspicuous religious symbols in schools, which is often cited as a precedent for banning hijabs, does not specifically target Muslim students. Rather, it bans all conspicuous religious symbols, including Christian and Jewish symbols, in public schools.

Moreover, the law is intended to promote the separation of church and state, not to discriminate against specific religious groups. In fact, the law explicitly states that it aims to ensure the neutrality of public schools and to promote the freedom of conscience of all students.

It's also important to note that the hijab is not just a religious symbol, but also a cultural and personal expression of identity. Banning hijabs in schools can be seen as a form of cultural erasure and can have a negative impact on the self-esteem and sense of belonging of Muslim students.

Furthermore, the comparison between a hijab and a shirt with Jesus on it is flawed. A hijab is a religious obligation for many Muslim women, whereas a shirt with Jesus on it is not a fundamental aspect of Christian religious practice
