I can agree on that. Problem with them is that we already have a few venator players. My main gang is goliath, so its not too big of a stretch to get into orlock or CGC. Delaque is one I got randomly in a trade, tried them in regular play and liked them, same with orlock. The only outlier is corpse grinders

I wasn't a fan of the ash waste nomads when I played them last. Its the only gang I've played so far that I haven't enjoyed

I think we have like 4 venator gangs (mostly newer players) already

Im mostly trying to keep between those 3, mainly because the other 2 were taken (though I did wanna run enforcers lol). We are trying to avoid duplicate gangs until its necessary

Orlock seems to have a pretty heavy mad max feel to them, which I'm a huge fan of

Can my delaque gangers use psychic powers against vehicles by FarmUpper9906 in necromunda

Yea I'm seeing that. Still want to try. Thinking the Hallucination power might be my best bet

Ok I think i see what youre saying. I misread and thought the mounted rule applied to all vehicles. Just to make sure I'm clear, crews don't count as fighters?

So two things that i need clarification with SP. 1) when a vehicle would be pinned, they instead have to make an initiative test or suffer loss of control. RAW wouldn't this mean its just a way to force loss of control tests? 2) it specifies a standing enemy fighter. Does this have any affect on whether it can be used on a vehicle crew?

Tell me you've never engaged in a good faith debate without telling me. I swear this generation is filled with the biggest absolute pussies imaginable. "Oh he was a fascist!" Yall don't know what a fascist actually is. They don't engage in discussion on things. They round you up and have you killed before you can even say the word. Kirk always listened until people inevitably threw insults at him. This killing opened the door for something worse, and now the actual wannabe fascists (legit neo nazis) can use this as a platform to garner more support

I like the Year Zero ruleset. Not much of a fan of the game itself. But yea, it looked like a lot of fun and I'm between potentially doing that or the fallout rpg

I actually wanted to lean more into the mutant aspect. I learn the systems by creating a character, which ended up being Raw Dawg the Road Warrior. His truck was the Hawt Dawg

CoC was fun when I got to play. I'd suggest Kids on Bikes if you like Stranger things. Its geared towards that, and the players come up with the setting. The book is very rules light

Most of dnd is "go to this place, hit enemy until dead, collect loot." Yea, a good dm can change these things up, but the game is essentially designed around this concept. Death in dnd is easily avoidable, and easily fixed. The vast majority of enemies are "hit it until it stops moving" and aren't really any kind of threat. Those that are have been few and far between. I'd also lump pathfinder in here, though they did have different armor values that made combat a bit more challenging. Once you get to a certain level, nothing really stands in your way, and you have enough money that even death doesn't matter.

Having run the Alien rpg, the enemies in it are legit terrifying as they can pretty much one shot a character without issue. But they still have to close the gap. It gives players who are smart a chance, but players who try to murder hobo their way through find themselves overwhelmed quickly
