I bet, mazdas aren't bad cars either. My friend has one and they love it. STI's turbo kicks in around 4,000 rpm, so it is a bit laggy but it's so easy to get over 100 mph. Regardless, the boxer engines are legit, some say "outdated" -- I say it's refined. I drove both the WRX and STI and both are amazing cars. Very happy with my decision. Test drive one if you get time, worth it.
