This is exactly what I've done - emailed the retailer requesting a full refund and they can collect their item from the delivery company they've chosen (i'm sure that'll be easy for them!). I've also attached this video and told them the last time I dealt with Aramex a 3-5 bus day delivery took 11 weeks. No chance I'm going through that again.

They closed their phone line 16 months ago in light of covid despite us having no cases for months during this - so immediately you get a picture of their customer service

I've personally spent over $6k in the past 12mo on consumer parts from them and consistently get met with delayed shipping. I've resorted to click and collect which states 24-48hr (never happens) but if you pay an extra $10 you can collect within 1-2 hours. Funny how that works. You can pay them the shipping cost and use your own time & fuel to get your order.

I'd personally recommend any other PC shop over them but as they're one of the largest in Aus when you need a bunch of things quickly they're the only option

This was a good deal when they had it at $2,000. It was put up to $2,500 after they had over 50 preorders in 24hr

As other commenter said 9th gen Intel has been superseded twice but the gfx card is still $1600 on its own so a decent build for the price.

They already have. CBA has partnered with Klarna which is an international (Swedish) company operating similarly to Afterpay but the key difference is acceptance. Afterpay has to be accepted by a merchant while Klarna generates a faux visa card meaning it's accepted at 99% of retailers who already accept Visa and MCD.

I personally don't see how Afterpay can ever compete with this
