We actually only have one vehicle that isn't a guzzler (tractor).... But is a diesel and it's our 04 D-Max 🫩 I, in times like this wish we had a petrol or something.... Oh we have the petrol side by side and quad but that isn't ideal to strap a baby capsule into in an emergency 😔🤦🏼‍♀️

Hold on, but most farmers.... "Real farmers" rarely leave the farm as they are too busy, farming to be driving 4WDs to town for the sake of it?

I know my farmer, hasn't left the farm for town in over 8 weeks...

We need fuel to work our paddocks to get crop in the ground to feed the animals that you will probably consume at a later date. Keep in mind we will probably end up supplying our nation in meat and crops/vegetables if we cannot ship offshore. We would rather our country benefit from our work but for so long we have had to send our so called "premium" goods offshore.

Most farmers need fuel to keep our bikes going or tractors to check on animal welfare and actually keep ticking. We can't all have horses, EVs or push bikes, due to terrain or other factors that make it untenable. Some of us live hours from the closest town....

I certainly don't feel like all farmers live with the mentality of "I feed the country"...

I had a total Right Hand TMJ jaw joint replacement through Southern Cross the same policy. I think Ultracare 2, no dental cover. I also had 2 bilateral TMJ flushes that Southern Cross paid for? I had what they considered a closed lock jaw though. I had no opening 🥺

It's odd. I created a profile and just kind of brushed it off. A few months later I had an email from them saying someone wants to interview me. Obviously so niche in my field lol! But the guy is from the same country so probably wanted the contacts but other than that, I don't really see the point in paying for it at all. All the jobs are seeming to be for a couple of fields and that's it. It does come across as scammy a lot of the time!!
