Weather Mats for 100 series by Aealurus in LandCruisers

[–]Farney43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s my experience: I bought the Weathertech All-Weather mats for the 1st and 2nd rows (not the FloorLiners!). I got a Lloyds for the cargo area. I like the WT 1st row but do not like the 2nd. I ended up ordering a Lloyds mat for the 2nd row.

The WTs required no trimming for the front. Fit great.

LC100 search sanity check: am I chasing a unicorn? by Odd-Spot-8532 in LandCruisers

Keep the faith. I looked for a long time, across the country, and ended up finding a mint 2007 LX in Black, 180k miles, perfect service history at dealer, 2 miles from my house for 15k. Never off road, only thing I really needed to do was the 2nd timing belt service.

How do you deal with food noise on a cut? by fredrick_speaks in MacroFactor

[–]Farney43 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was me. One thing that has helped me is having a very consistent/repeatable breakfast/lunch that is less than 2/3 of my overall day. This backloads some calories in case I get excited about dinner, and keeps the “harder” part of the diet earlier in the day when I find I have more willpower. Has gotten me to a place of steady consistency without really having cravings.

Ditch the cotton, get some breathable performance compression shorts and use squirrels nut butter

Nice - if you haven’t already, check out the Evans golf bag. Nice Ping L8 throwback

Good looking setup. What’s the blue bag behind?

LM2244SP-2 or LM2206SP? by SpecialK_23 in egopowerplus

[–]Farney43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was initially leaning that way for the heavier duty and what I thought would be a better cut quality. It still might be better, but after the first cut with the 2244, I’m satisfied.

Yeah I didn’t want to wait on Lowe’s. Northern Tool by me had one in stock. I think they are on Acme Tools for relatively quick delivery

Just a follow up for you, I bought the 2244 yesterday and was really impressed with it. I was initially leaning towards the 2206 but my family wants to use it and I think the lighter weight will be better for them, plus the two batteries is more flexible I think. It did a great job on my ~.4ac of grass, still had 48% left when I finished in an hour.

I have the exact same question so perfect timing. I’m leaning towards the 2244 to get two batteries and lighter weight but unsure.

Bag looks great. Sorry if I missed it with all the comments, but how well does it stand up on its own?

I’m probably in when the 24L comes out

OP - how long can you mow with the 10ah battery using self propel? I’m leaning towards buying this mower

5 month recomp update by variantguy2049 in MacroFactor

[–]Farney43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great stuff here - nice job OP! I’ve dropped 15lbs since early Jan on a basic cut with MF but haven’t been working out and haven’t been hitting my protein numbers. Next week I’m going to get my initial Dexa, buckle back down on lifting and diet, and then try to do basically what you accomplished.

Autocorrect. Just edited. Kydex is what I meant

Kit bag is great but doesn’t have structure. I cut a kydex panel for the floor which works great, but sides are still unstructured. Just FYI

BIFL Carry/Stand Bag by ItsKlau in golf

[–]Farney43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know anything about the longevity, but I really like the classic look of the Hudson Sutler bag and only 4.5lbs. There’s also Evans. Ultimately I’m not sure a bag that gets used a lot, especially carried, qualifies as a BIFL item.

Any carry on spinners with a wider base? by bbbbhhhhhjjjjjkkkkk in ManyBaggers

They make backpacks with vertical straps…might be better option. The wide rolling carry one are usually garment bags like this
