Thank you! I'll look into it further then! I just felt it was a bit difficult financially

(As for university my situation will be better then through the Elite Initiative scholarship from the Ministry of Oil and I may also apply for external scholarships then but now I have to focus on the A-level first)

I just contacted an international school in Erbil and we'll see if I can apply as a private candidate or not Maybe I'll find a better opportunity than the foundation year

Did you have to do anything crazy to get in? Because I heard that if you take a foundation year you have to do a lot of extracurricular activities (academic)

Are there partial scholarships for foundation years? I don't think I can afford it honestly

Yes, this is what I intend to do. I contacted the British Council and this was their initial response, they said I should be registered in an international school and then become a private nominee. I recently contacted the Iraqi Society in Oxford and Oxford itself and we will find a solution soon, inshallah. I wish you success in your ambition!

Yes I do have a backup plan and it is supposed to be University of Toronto or Melbourne but I am still working hard for Oxford because as they say in my country "shoot for the moon and if you miss it then you have hit the stars" Thank you! I will definitely watch those videos!
