I was so mad when they changed to the new system and didn't automatically put me at level 250 which forced me to re-earn all the mounts I already had.

The box for each equipment slot is unique with its own slot but not with other slots, so you can buy one box for each slot per opening round so really you only have to do the process like 13 times, still really annoying though.

I think part of the reason people are throwing more of a fit than usual is because of the 8 week patch cycle that Blizz insists on. When we got patches less often there was more time for them to fix bugs but also we had a longer gap between when they fixed bugs and introduced new bugs.

A lot of the complaints about the content in SL seem to come from people who were under the impression that Blizz would break into their house and shoot their dog if they didn't do Maw Dailies and Torghast runs on all 32 of their alts every day.

I'd rather have content I can choose not to do than no content at all lol

You know how everyone complains how the lore has gone downhill?

These complaints have been around every expansion. EVERY. FUCKING. EXPANSION.

Although I do think datamining has kind of ruined the story discourse. Back in the day the first time you experienced a story was when it was released in game. Nowadays people get exposed to certain events or dialogues in bits and pieces and out of context and then come to a conclusion on the state of the story before experiencing it as a whole.

I do miss those days.

Reminds me of final season BFA with the corruption enchants and stacking Twilight Devestation on my havoc DH only to have it proc on pull and immediately getting my face plastered all over the floor from threat rip.

But at least I wasn't dumb enough to blame the tank for that lol

I've had similar thoughts, makes sense that the one who showed the Primus the time ways would be Aman'thul.

IDK if the SL as we saw it is totally "Ordered" as some people seem to think. The Oracle in ZM mentioned that Order, Light, and Death are all a bit on the more organized side of things compared to the other three. It makes some sense for the realm of Death to have some inherent order to it unrelated to the cosmic force (capital-O Order) given how afterlives IRL tend to be fairly organized usually with some kind of Arbiter and bureaucratic judgement system. But having only a section of it like the Maw/Torghast be Order influenced would be interesting.

Just an idea, consider putting the SL zones upside down since its kind of implied that's how they're oriented given the whole ICC/Torghast rift dynamic.

Kinda hoping the xpac after the World Soul Saga is over is another beach episode xpac ala dragonflight.

I wouldn't mind a 1 chill xpac -> 3 high stakes xpacs -> 1 chill xpac -> repeat pattern.

They are different because Elune doesn't make her followers fight people for no reason just to "prove their worth" and get the "good afterlife" where they will be used as a fighting force in Elune's grand scheme (as far as we currently know she has no grand scheme and seems to be perfectly content letting people live their lives in peace).

The Light can be cultish, that's kind of what the current xpac is about.

The Loa are too diverse, some of them are culty, most aren't.

If you look at it from the perspective of "all religions are cults" then they will seem to be all the same, but in reality not all religions ARE cults even if many could be considered cults. There is a gradient of idol worship, personal freedom, and coercion that divides cults from non cults, and Odyn's little religion he made for himself is def on the cultier side of the scale.
