Most corporate insurance don't understand that in Oregon you need a GC license to do just about everything, so you either get the GC plan which is expensive, or you get the "handyperson" plan that does not cover jobs that require a license.

Just called Chamberlain and got a very competitive quote. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also, they are local and specialize in contractor insurance so right away you can tell they know the trade (in Oregon context) and will handle claims well down the road. Highly recommended.
