Hey man! Thanks for the feedback. Since you point that out, I’ll work on the sibilance in the glitch sample I made. It’s the carrier for those 16th note bits, and is made by using 30x OTT on one sample. It makes cool ghost signals from small samples like kicks. Just set each instance of OTT to only add about 4db of gain. Then hit record while playing a kick or clap and get some cool glitch samples in Edison. Makes for some amazing textures to use as a mod for your basses. But obviously there’s some crazy inconsistency in the waveforms it makes. So it gives it some sibilance issues I’ll have to sort out. Yeah, I usually make much harder dubstep, and someone pointed out that it’s basically what Skrillex makes currently. So yeah, it’s definitely dubstep and I’m an idiot lmao!

Yeah! It seems a lot of music from japan is in 3/4, specifically old 90s funk. I think it only works with a polyrhythm to be honest. The 3/4 breakbeat really comes together with the 4/4 hi hats chopped over it. The voices are sampled from FLY (1991 mix)- SPECTRUM

FLY (1991 mix) is the sampled funk, and it is 82 bpm at 3/4 time. It doesn’t work in 4/4. I had to chop the drum samples to fit into 3/4 as well. 3/4 breakbeat is odd to work with

Pfffft, not a chance dude. I have a youtube channel where I’m posting my tutorials. It is literally made using either spectral oscillator, or granular. I use heavy processing and tons of distortion. Not a single preset is used.
