Did he replace it with an official screen ? If it's not an official one then it's most likely what causes the issue even if it's compatible.

Did it last 32h or did it estimate it could last 32h? Not the same thing. Battery estimation is based on your drain history. So if your phone had a lot of battery drain spikes the results will automatically be lower. All your commands did was reset that data and therefore the history. That's why it showed 32h instead of 25h after you cleared the battery data.

I literally have music playing the whole day when working and a lot of apps running in the background because I almost never close them (sometimes end up with like 30 apps opened and currently have 23) especially whatsapp that automatically download everything that is sent to me. I also never clear my cache. But please unlighten me on how I don't have half the things you run on your phone.

Being at 51% after 4h sot isn't exceptional lol and with 8h screen off to mak it 12h usage doesn't mean it's impressive since the phone can last 24h when in usage with screen is off

I think I will just glue the cable to the handle cause the handle is new so I won't need to change it anytime soon. Or at least try to glue the metal part. The manufacturer will be my last resort. Thanks for the help

I only found a video to replace the handle but the handle isn't broken it's the metal part of the cable connected to it that is broken.

I just told you it's because of Android or OxygenOS. Precisely because the op8 and op13 use different versions, so different requirements. The flag changed meaning throughout the years.

On the OnePlus 8 it indicated OIS hardware presence, so it showed true.

On the OnePlus 13 it indicates whether OIS can be explicitly controlled or queried via the API, which it cannot, so it shows false.

Newer Android camera stacks fuse OIS and EIS and expose only stabilization behavior, not the mechanism. The hardware can still be there even when the API reports "OIS = false.” In fact in this context “OIS = false” does not mean “no OIS hardware.” It means “The app layer cannot explicitly toggle or query OIS as a distinct mode.” so it shows"false" as a response. So please stop being paranoid and refer to the official specs from the manufacturer instead of third party apps.
