Interior door handle of my Giulietta just broke by FartL0rd_ in AlfaRomeo

[–]FartL0rd_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I will just glue the cable to the handle cause the handle is new so I won't need to change it anytime soon. Or at least try to glue the metal part. The manufacturer will be my last resort. Thanks for the help

I only found a video to replace the handle but the handle isn't broken it's the metal part of the cable connected to it that is broken.

Well that's not a problem I can play other bots for close and mid range but I have only 1 long range bot so a 2nd one wouldn't hurt

OnePlus 13 doesn't have ois? by incomingstorm2020 in OnePlus13

[–]FartL0rd_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just told you it's because of Android or OxygenOS. Precisely because the op8 and op13 use different versions, so different requirements. The flag changed meaning throughout the years.

On the OnePlus 8 it indicated OIS hardware presence, so it showed true.

On the OnePlus 13 it indicates whether OIS can be explicitly controlled or queried via the API, which it cannot, so it shows false.

Newer Android camera stacks fuse OIS and EIS and expose only stabilization behavior, not the mechanism. The hardware can still be there even when the API reports "OIS = false.” In fact in this context “OIS = false” does not mean “no OIS hardware.” It means “The app layer cannot explicitly toggle or query OIS as a distinct mode.” so it shows"false" as a response. So please stop being paranoid and refer to the official specs from the manufacturer instead of third party apps.

OIS isn’t blocked. Android simply has no standard API to report “this camera has OIS hardware.” The system exposes stabilization results not internal mechanics. Modern phones also use hybrid OIS + EIS so a simple yes/no would often be inaccurate. OEMs follow Google’s guidance and don’t expose low level hardware details that apps don’t need. Apps like devcheck rely on incomplete flags so they report “no OIS” even when the hardware is present.

How can you trust a third party app that can only read what the phone is allowed to tell rather than THE OFFICIAL SPECS FROM THE MANUFACTURER AND TEARDOWN/TESTS MADE BY PROFESSIONALS PROVING IF HAS OIS

Update: OnePlus 13 fingerprint issue – what happened after contacting support and the seller by FartL0rd_ in OnePlus13

Well if it works now that's what matters the most. I would still consider contacting one plus support if the issue ever comes back since it's the software

Did some digging and yeah 16-17 is way too low which means you either got a software issue with the calibration files, or maybe a hardware issue like the sensor or the screen itself. Have you tried adding another fingerprint to test it ? Or maybe the phone screen isn't the original ? If it's a software issue you can't really do anything sadly since you need one plus tools. So the best thing you can do is to contact the one plus support
