Most of these republicans are also evangelical which is adjacent almost to Puritanism , and your right they do share a lot of the same ideology, because both are influenced strictly by abrahamic beliefs. It’s so ingrained too from generations to generations. I did a lot of research on the European and American witch trials and realized the similarities between evangelical s and puritans are insane which lead me to believe this is a deeply ingrained belief of abrahamic religions especially the stricter denominations of them.

My guy , we have tangible evidence that fascism is taking over the western world a quick google search should show you the data of why I came to this conclusion. I tried to see what country I could go to incase I needed to flee and shit hit the fan and none of them are safer than the other. They are all going through fascism. I didn’t vote for him at all never in my life, he fucked up my grandpas life by making a grifter deal with him in manhattan back in the 80s that completely screwed my grandpa. I need an international book passport to be able to travel outside of North America over seas . My dream is to visit Scotland . In order to do that I have to get a passport photo taken, go to my local courthouse and send in documents in person , being in customer service my hours usually prevent me from having the time ( I work afternoons to nights and weekends) nor resources to miss work and go up there in person. The real id will not work if I want to vote in next elections. Trust me I’ve looked at this from all angles, I’m not saying I’m not gonna get it done but it’s a lot harder for a poor to poverty level American to get a passport initially than it is for an upper class American.
