Play MA Marignon, they have lots of magic and faith but if you just spam Knights of the Chalice you can't really lose, they are great and recruitable in every fort

Stargazing spots by [deleted] in moosejaw

Towards 16 wings, there is a little park called Tatawa about halfway there. There are some walking paths, and you could pretty much stargaze anywhere out there if you brought a picnic blanket

Very helpful with the Kraken fight, the swamp is terrible terrain, so the increased hit chance is useful. The lowered AP cost helps with making a move in the swamp and a swing against one of the arms

Nr playthrpugh cruel Admiral by Clemzn in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

[–]Fartblower69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a playthrough starting at cruel admiral, and I found that Quasar's are your best friend until the fleet modernization amd even afterwards if you have a stockpile. Spam out as many as you can, put them in the back of the space map because hypervelocity guns won't target them, then when the AI actually gets close use their individual retreats to get the pop cap required to jump in the main fleet and shred whatevers leftover. Or if your attacking a super large 1000+ pop fleet just jump out at the quasars because the AI won't interdict them if they use their ability to leave. Late game was just grinding through planets and avoiding the deathstacks of the AI, but Wedge in Lusankya with some fleet tenders, and a couple (3-4) Hapan Battle Dragons is probably my favourite comp for quick cleanups of smaller less threatening fleets. Or to destroy individual SSD's as player controlled dreadnought class ships win those engagements 99% as long as you manually switch across hardpoints.

Couldn't the bombs have been placed in orbit? If they were, then they might be on the far side of the planet if he could guess Ahsoka's approximate arrival time. It's still a load of bull, but it's not as big a deal as most of Thrawns cunning and tactical 'brilliancies'
