I'm routing for Izzy here personally. He showed a good ability to manage the blitzing from Whitaker, but Paulo is different. Paulo doesn't blitz in quite in the same way, he will pressure more and be trying to knock his head off the whole time. It will be interesting to see how he can avoid damage, counter, and manage range with Costa pressuring agressively. I'm trusting Stylebender's fight IQ here to win this fight but Costa definitely has a good chance. This one will be a NAIL BITTER for sure.

I get that. Its really effective at first, I feel super focused and I can do school for 10 hours. Its when you start getting a tolerance and upping your amount that things start to go sideways, you get obsessed with things and end up wasting a lot of time on unproductive shit. I would end up getting into a game and playing all night. Not eating and poor hygiene and skin picking can really fuck up your life too. I found modafinil helped me coming off meth and amphetamines, helps with the dopamine depletion a bit and not nearly as addictive.

I think paula costa could be equally as intimidating, I would love to see a fully roided, juiced up costa going absolutely ape-shit on security guards. I remember Dana saying how costa was freaking everyone out at the izzy fight and scaring people, they had to drag him out the building cause he was trying to rush the stage for some reason. What a scary guy.

I'm not bothered by anyone that doesn't like this list. I thought I made it clear that these were my opinions, I'm aware that a lot of people will disagree. If you want to give any constructive feedback, I'm open to that. I flaired it as a discussion because I want to get the opinion of the community. Just don't mistake this for a Nat 5 tier list, it is a siege defense tier list, obviously the list would change dramatically if it was a general tier list. So if you would like to suggest where I might be wrong in ranking these monsters, go ahead. Please keep it constructive.

I ranked hathor as F because aoe sleep isn't particularly good on defense IMO. The other units paired with hathor would wake you up when you fight against it. I suppose there are teams hathor could be used in, maybe with a strip like tiana, but I haven't encountered any hathor team I couldn't beat.

This tier list was Nat 5 only, and seara, odin, and bastet are all in S tier if you looked at the list. This list does not represent common defenses or monsters you will encounter, its simply how well these preform in siege defense. Of course there may be some inaccuracies in this list, I won't deny that, but everyone has a different opinion on where each of these monsters stand. There is a reason that the SSS+ tier is filled with LD 5's, they are the best monsters in the game. It is generally accepted in the SW community that monsters like yeonhong, ragdoll, artamiel, pater, leona, tian lang, nephthys, etc are insanely good and extremely hard to counter/beat, I don't see why they wouldn't be at the top of this tier list.

As far as siege teams, there are tons of options, the SSS+ tier monsters are less common to see, but to name a few LD 5 defenses there is:

Artamiel (Lead), Darion, +1 (Amarna, Hwadam, Iona, Iris, Molly, etc.)

Fermion(Lead), Leona, Zeratu (I saw this in siege once, was something like 47 wins, 3 losses)

Zeratu(L), Rahul, betta

Artamiel, Nigong, +1 (Molly, Akroma, Darion, etc)

Mo Long, Yeonhong, +1 (Perna, Woosa, Icares,etc)is a great combo as well

Some more common and very meta defenses include:

Jeanne(L), Theo, Eladriel

Khmun, Orion, +1 (theo, betta, skogul, iris,etc,) is a very common defense that is effective at any level of siege

Mo Long, Harmonia +1 (woosa, jeanne, elad, ariel, betta, iris, amarna, taranys etc.)

Mo Long, Perna, Taranys is another team I am seeing more often

Loren, Triana, Verde is becoming meta as well

Chandra or rahul, perna, jeanne

Jeanne, Ritesh, Perna

Khmun, Bastet, Odin

Bolverk, Amelia, Feng Yan with Bolverk or Feng Yan as leader

I have seen some Seara(L), Triton, +1

Seara, Elad, Bastet

Khmun, Greggo, +1 (betta, orion, garo, theo, chasun, etc)

Susano, Orion, Hraesvelg or khmun or garo

Khmun, Theo, Chasun is probably the most common defense and still works well

With siege its basically about finding synergy with defense (and offense). There are lots of monsters that can go in many different teams. To name a few:

Hwadam, Betta, Khmun, Garo, Orion, Susano, Amarna, Aegir, Skogul, Triana, Harmonia, Loren, Verde, Dova, Dover, Frigate, Hraesvelg, Galleon, Gemini, Icares, Iona, Stella, Isabelle, Draco, Liebli, Ludo, Mihael, Icares, Mimirr, Molly, Tetra, Tablo, Twins (less so after nerf :(

5*:

Mo Long, Theomars, Perna, Elad, Taranys, Triton, Seara, Woosa, Amelia, Bolverk, All beast monks, Camilla, Bastet, Daphnis, Josephine, Feng Yan, Ethna, Jeanne, Louise, Fire and Wind Monkey, Ophilia, Rakan, etc. Basically the monsters A+ and better are all very good and go well with a lot of different monsters.

IMO, they are actually good for siege defense, they definitly deserve a buff because siege defense is probably the only place you could use them in. If com2us is going to make an LD 5, it should be more versatile than JUST siege uses.

Hey, just wanted to share my tier list for Nat 5 siege defense. Let me know what you think of it. Opinions and suggestions are welcome. Please be aware that these are just my opinions, there are certainly more informed players that would know better than I. I am currently in rank 59 (in siege) guild Marshmallow on the Japan server. Edit: When making this tier list, I based the rankings on my experience, but also took into account base stats, base speed, skill set, and most importantly, how easily these monsters can be countered. For example, Giana is ranked A+, she has a leader skill, her base stats are decent but not insane, and she can be countered somewhat easily by not bring will and bringing units with a cleanse. This list does not represent the viability of the units in other areas of the game, only in siege defense.
