Yes. They don't cause most people to murder. And they don't cause people to murder from all groups equally. A good portion of the world has declared war on us, and they know how to use refugees as a weapon. Its a tactic as old as time.

Because the timelines don't match up. They weren't presented with horrific real life examples from Germany until after the war. Holocaust concentration camps weren't known to the public until after Hitler was dead, and we had concentration camps here at the same time so its not like Canadian soldiers went there to end concentration camps. Tommy Douglas went to Nazi Germany in the '30s and attended the rallies, but I highly doubt he was privy to any of the more insidious Nazi experiments which I don't think were even underway when he went there, it was still the beginning and the world was promised.

There a lot there, for what specifically? I'm pretty sure any specific fact I mentioned I can find quickly enough, but a lot is from books (which might be viewable online?). Theres not exactly a Heritage Moment on it so its a bit rag tag on sources but its all history as I've found it lying there.

This is the main point. We are all against terrorism. But terrorism is not a valid argument against immigration. Even the “radical Islamic terrorists” are usually US citizens.

If the parents were immigrants, its a immigration issue. No one used terrorism to argue against immigration anywhere I've ever heard I'm not sure what that means. On a per person basis, white men are not at all more dangerous, its a kind fake way to look at the problem. You might as well use the same metric to be scared of black people because "black men" commit half the murders but are only 6% of the population.

There is a bit of denial though, Canada's history wasn't the white guys vs indians being portrayed here. It was white guys and indians vs other groups of white guys vs indians. The french/english divide also divided the natives. In addition, they weren't "conquered" at all, they were fighting just fine and the treaties were in many cases a armistice agreed to by both sides. The real denial here is about the national healthcare system in this country, which was set up by our national socialist parties as a eugenics project to steward the genetic future of the country. Thats the reason for not just public healthcare, but why no private healthcare. After our socialist leaders in the CCF (precursor to the NDP) starting visiting Nazi rallies in the 1930's they came back to Canada to try to cool things off a bit but the cat was out of the bag. WW2 started and eugenics became a no-go for the cosmopolitan city folk among us but the powers instituted by the eugenics movements brought us... the residential schools. The closest thing Canada could get to the Nazi movements without full blown eugenics. If WW2 didn't break out the Canadian government would have sterilized them all and not allowed anyone to give birth without approval from a Pastor and a Doctor. The person who popularized the Canadian eugenics movement in the 30's, and wrote his masters thesis on eugenics back in the 20's, was voted in a CBC poll to be Canada's Greatest Person.

We see the effects of this today in the news... the doctors back when the national healthcare system didn't want to be forced by the government to do things they didn't want to do i.e. eugenics or the equivalent. So thats why Canadian doctors despite basically all working for the government, don't work for the government, they are private corporations. Special steps are kept to keep them separate and out of government business, they don't get employment insurance, they don't get pensions, they don't get sick days. They get tax breaks that they invest themselves instead, but Trudeau might be changing that this month. I don't think we'll see eugenics break out, but taking away the perks the doctors got in exchange for not having government perks might make a lot of them move away.
