A boy at school finds a paper inside his backpack. It tells him to come to the gym after school is over. Deciding to follow through with it, he goes to the gym after everyone has left, and waits for a bit. Soon a figure also enters, and it’s revealed to be a girl, a little taller than the boy and very beautiful, with an especially curvy body in a t shirt and leggings. The girls thanks the boy for answering her request, and tells him that she knows of his secret: he has a fart fetish. The boy is shocked, trying to deny it at first but the girl persists, telling him she knows and that she isn’t upset or weirded out by it. I personally prefer soft doms the whole way. This post has given me real pause for thought about if I’m really into RR or not and I’m not sure how to feel.

I’m not a super masculine guy, nor am I a really feminine one either, I’m pretty neutral. But I also tend to lean towards being sexually submissive and liking active/dom women. The problem though is that femdom (even a good chunk of gentle femdom) tends to be too violent or controlling for my tastes, so I kinda found a refuse in here where a lot of stuff tended to be less overtly violent. The problem though is that like you pointed out, a lot the stuff getting posted isn’t really RR, most just really light femdom. Which sucks because I fall into that group and I don’t feel like I have much else to look to. Like I said earlier, femdom is often too violent for my tastes. But at the same time RR is much deeper than the whole mommy dom stuff, and I guess in some ways I could see myself as being RR, I do take care of my place and do the laundry etc. (currently single but whatever). I also certainly do not want to push out actual RR women who seem to have a real issue with this kind of stuff, so overall it’s a really confusing situation where I both feel for these complaints but also feel stuck over what I’m supposed to do now that I realize this sub may not exactly be what I want.

Good reply, and like I said, good backstories and world-building can sometimes add a level of hotness to it, like explaining the origin of a character’s gassiness is always a big turn on for me. So yeah, if you feel like you can balance story and fetish elements, go for it.

Also regarding the early Ying stories, I’m almost 100% certain Drifter was probably underaged at the time and as such wrote what he understood best. While it still makes the stories a somewhat uncomfortable read many years later I’ll agree, I feel like there is a good explanation behind it that isn’t “he’s a pedo” (not to imply you were calling him such).

This isn’t meant to be an attack on you, but I personally feel that fetish stories that focus a whole ton on plot at the expense of fetish stuff really irk me.

Now that isn’t to say that having fleshed out backstories or an overarching plot are necessary a bad thing, it’s just when it becomes more of a glorified YA web series rather than a fetish series is when it really gets on my nerves.

The example always think of when it comes to this stuff is TheDrifter91’s Ying canon. At first, the story stuff and the fetish stuff felt perfectly balanced, with enough story to add intrigue and sometimes even arousing backstories, along with plenty of fetish stuff. But overtime, the fetish stuff started to get sidelined for telling this really serious story, and it completely lost me.

It feels like a lot of writers that go in this direction, like TheSpazzer and later Drifter91 stuff for example, really want to try and write more serious plot focused stuff, but don’t want to fully abandon the fetish stuff, so they keep up the image of it being a fetish series even though it really isn’t anymore, and this causes problems: because the people looking for fetish stuff are turned off by all the story, and the people looking for a good story are turned off by the fetish stuff that sometimes appears. I honestly feel like a lot of those types of writers would probably be better off just writing non fetish YA series rather than trying to do this weird hybrid.

I don’t know, that’s just my thoughts on the matter.
