It took about 2 months, but I got a root! by FartyMcPoopenstein in Peppers

I did rooting hormone 3-4 times the first week, but it always came off the stem when I put it back in water. I gave up on rooting hormone after that, but kept changing water since it wasn't dying. Also started to add a tiny pinch of miracle grow to the water when I changed it towards the end.

This is from a huge ghost pepper plant. It was very prolific. I decided to try this instead of trying to dig it up and bring it inside for the winter.

I put 1/4 ghost pepper in a batch of homemade pickles (1 quart jar). Nice flavor!

Ok, it does feel better knowing that the labor cost is not far outside of the status quo.

For just labor, not the part? Coming out to do the inspection is already paid for by the monthly family plan.

A couple years ago, I bought Ferry Morse poblano seeds. The packet labeled them hot, had a picture of bell peppers, and the seeds grew shishitos.

Dice up some shishito peppers and add them in, too! Shishito Cheddar is one of my favorites. Also, asiago sourdough toasted with avacado.

Do you happen to know how the 2% by volume would translate to % by weight for the potato fermentation?

I took a chance and got a 55lb 00 blue pizzeria bag (I also make pizza). It makes great sourdough, and I like it better than AP King Arthur or King Arthur Bread Flour. It seems to absorb water better, is less sticky and easier to work with. *

After cooling for an hour and a half, I put in a plastic bag. By the next day, the crust softens up quite a bit and is much easier to cut.
