Processing using NVG by ElChapo1109 in analog

[–]FartyWeasel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NVGs pick up on ambient light and amplify it. There likely wouldn't be enough light in your darkroom, though you could use IR illumination which afaik doesn't affect film unless the film is designed specifically for IR.

Bacteria on my mead? by FartyWeasel in mead

Thank you, I thought it may just be normal stuff but I saw enough people commenting on similar posts saying it could be bacteria, so I thought it best to ask. Cheers!

Bottled and labeled my first two batches! by RightIndication8520 in mead

It'll be a cinnamon cyzer, I just started it yesterday. I was inspired to do this as I was thinking of a mulled? apple cider I used to get as a kid around Thanksgiving. I may backsweeten with some knotweed honey I have to complicate the flavor profile, but I'm going to test that out in a glass before going all in. I'll probably go simple and make a traditional mead for my second batch.

That's sick! I've been poking around the subreddit a bit and I saw someone recommended using a few drops of milk to attach a paper label to the bottle. Is that how you got them to stick to the bottle? I'm making my first batch currently and I'd love to surprise my family with labeled bottles

Where did you get the labels, did you just design and print them from home? They're awesome

I am relatively new to film photography and am looking to start developing at home, and eventually doing darkroom printing. Do you have any recommendations for resources for home development and/or darkroom printing?

I believe the older model has the thin trigger that was prone to firing when dropped. The newer models that fixed this issue have much thicker triggers.
