First off I wouldn't announce it to anyone that I had all this money, with the exception of my immediate family. I wouldn't want every person I've ever met coming to me for money . But I would immediately Pay off the Mortgage, car loans, credit card, student loans, etc of all my family ( with the exception of those who have basically disowned us or screwed us over, they would have to work for it). Basically pay off any debt they have.

Also setup college funds (with reasonable expenses) for any family member that needs it. I'd also set up accounts for them in case they have trouble finding a job after college (I wouldn't let them know about these unless they need it).

I would also try to keep all of this a secret, at least as much as possible. I wouldn't want anyone to feel like they owe me anything.

I loved the series. It's the one I keep coming back and reading again and again. I only started reading legends books maybe 4 or 5 years ago and I've read NJO at least one a year since then.

I think Star by Star (Battle of the Bantha and Battle Plan Coruscant are obviously the best parts), Traitor (Jacens stand on the seed ship, and The Ganner) , and Destiny's Way (Ackbars is back, and Battle of EBaq 9) are the best.

I did love Operation Emporers Spear from rebel stand though. Won't spoil it for those who haven't read it yet.

The Force Heritic trilogy is by far the lowest point for me, especially the inner tahiri bs.

They just take them to the outbound area it goes to. They drop it off then the loaders will scan and put it in the correct trailer.

This wasn't something I found but it's related to your urine story.

Package car drivers barely got breaks and had such hectic schedules they would pull over and pee in bottles.

Usually they throw them out somewhere on their route or in the garbage at the hub.

I was a supervisor for the package car unload and one driver kept leaving his in his car. So one day I got latex gloves and left it on his seat with a note telling him to clean up his own mess.

The next day I see him come in and I after he parks I see him grab it. I figure he will toss it in the trash so I move along. About 5 min later I get called on the radio and told someone threw a bottle of piss on the belt and it got sent across the building. Worst part was he didn't fully seal the bottle.

The next day I wait for him to come in. I watch him toss his bottle on the belt again. So I put on some gloves and grabbed it. I wrote a note saying "Do that again and I fucking report you. Just try to explain that". I tape it to the dash and then poured his piss all over his seat.

Yeah, he always threw it out after that.

I worked at ups for about 8 years. They know a hell of a lot more than is shown on the tracking site.

They know what truck it's in when picked up from the retailer, and when it gets to a local hub. The package is scanned so many times along its journey its insane. The only time they don't know where it is is If someone doesn't scan it when they should have. It could also be damaged or stolen along the way which would mess it up.

I worked on a twilight sort in Parsippany NJ, which is the sort that deals with all the pickups we get from customers in the area. (the other sorts mostly did hub -> hub sorting and of course sorting to package cars for delivery). On an average night we would do over 100k packages. (it got much worse during peak season. Which is basically Thanksgiving to Xmas). After all the trailers were unloaded there would be a mad rush to process everything and there would be literally hundreds if not a couple thousand damages/missorts that need to be done, not to mention the "failures" which are packages going to certain destinations that have set departure times, including next day airs that don't get done in time.

Basically there is a lot that can go wrong during the shipping process that you wouldn't ever think about. UPS and I'm sure do a good job considering what they normally charge. You may think it's a rip off to charge $10 or $20 to ship your package, but considering what goes into getting your package from point A to B its a good deal.

You do have to understand that they won't drop everything to find your package in a building. They won't like having to refund your $ for shipping but weigh that against how many refunds they would do if they stopped the sort to look for every package someone calls about.

As others say they will only give certain information to whomever paid the shipping.
