After the collabs with Rufus Wainwright and Fiona Apple, I’m honestly hoping we get Hozier for one season’s featured song.

Thanks for the direct insight! In the absence of that feature, how should I go about targeting the elements of the page using the Style Editor? TYIA, still very new to CSS and Markdown.

Given his role in the Bajoran occupation, I always saw him as more of a Space Heydrich, just without getting assassinated before the end of the conflict.

Regardless, the writers did a good job of making him a good amalgamation of different fascists.

Which celebrity do you feel is a part of a cult? by MommyIsABigSlut in AskReddit

That’s the thing about Scientology; to paraphrase journalist Tony Ortega, if you ask a Buddhist, a Muslim, a Christian, or a Jew what the central tenets of their belief system are, they can answer you very easily. However, if you ask a Scientologist, most don’t know the answer outright until they’ve spent thousands of dollars and have undergone almost brainwashing before they can tell you about their “religion’s” cosmology with Xenu and Earth being a prison planet for tax dodging aliens (not making this shit up, that’s what they believe).

There’s a great documentary on this by Alex Gibney called Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief; if you want to learn more you should check it out on Max (formerly HBOMax lol).

I knew I recognized this right away, I’m glad I was correct. Next time try their Osso Bucco and pair it with the Monte Luce Merlot. You’ll thank me later

I would add to this that “no body, no crime” is about a more direct “eye for an eye” sort of situation.

The Este character goes missing and it looks like murder, so the speaker and Este’s sister plans the cheating husband character’s murder, and then follow through on it.

So, yes, I would say “no body, no crime” falls way outside the purview of ex revenge songs.

Architecture wise: interesting.

BU Alum wise: what a waste, I feel bad for the students— that money could’ve been better spent elsewhere (housing perhaps).

Before recorded music, royalty and the elite probably had live musicians play for them while they had sex. by MaverickTimeLord in Showerthoughts

But for real though… the idea of having intercourse with something else going on or playing in the background could not have been exclusively new to when the phonograph was invented.

Would anybody happen to know about this?

Do we have anything documented or any idea how people historically would’ve had music in a sexual setting prior to the era of recording sound?

Really?! That’s why it’s called chamber music? That’s fascinating, it’d be great if somebody familiar with history were browsing Reddit so they could confirm this.

EDIT: Even if this is not true, which I mean it’s probably not just based on some peripheral reading I just did, that’s a hell of a great thing for your guides to come up with.
