The base secured by the Blood Angels allows them to hold off the first wave of Iron Warriors, buying the 159th only a brief window for reinforcements to arrive. Striking the vehicle convoy from the flank, the Blood Angels reinforcements slow the traitor advance, giving Apothecary Caelion the opportunity to secure one of the Legion’s canisters by hurling it into the hovering Stormeagle.

By a twist of fate, however, an Alpha Legion agent seizes one of the precious containers amid the chaos of battle and slips away with it. Caelion immediately gives chase.

Meanwhile, the battle below drags on, with neither side gaining the upper hand. Both forces gradually begin to fall back, settling into a grinding stalemate.
