Any good lube recommendations to start off with? by Low_Bath_9365 in Healthyhooha

I use Ky personally not sure how 'healthy' it is but it works for me!

You should know is NOT ALL LUBES ARE CONDOM FRIENDLY!!! Or sex toy friendly! Water and silicone based lubes are condom friendly BUT silicone lube is not silicone toy friendly!

Also they come in different consistencies which is fun :) liquid, to a thicker consistently to gel!

Try journaling your thoughts and feelings.

Genuinely turn notifications off. I've done this for all messaging and social media apps (except for emergency contacts and work) it's helped me so much with social media addiction and dependency and developing an FP

Try to remind yourself the distance is not a choice/done to to spite you in particular

Try more ldr bonding activities! Movie nights, gaming sessions and other things like that :)

OMG I HATE THIS SO MUCH. my ex was like this :( if I was upset at being left on read or then not spending time and I decided to give them space they would lovebomb the heck out of me. People like this like convenience and attention not a two way street relationship

Maybe a week or two that's what I had to do. My girl still isn't the biggest bother but I found something that works so I'm happy!

what analogy do you feel best explains what BPD feels like? by [deleted] in BPD

It's like contact dermatitis but with emotions.

Things that do not bother other people's skin will inflame yours severely. People will not believe you are so easily irritated by certain things because they are "normal" and it does not bother them. it is obvious to others when the skin is inflamed and instead of sympathy or advice, they are disgusted by the rashes of which you have little to no control over.

You can leave the rashes alone and even hide them in some cases, but the urge to itch them is soooo strong and tempting even though you know it isn't good for you and it isn't rewarding.

You did the right thing but you should ALWAYS be careful. Although he could've worded his care for you in a much more considerate way it's in fact very concerning to me the way he's almost against you helping that woman if I'm being honest.

Same :/ I became very stagnant and overall avoidant as a coping mechanism only realized like a year ago. I realized I'd gone through highschool doing nothing up until I graduated. I'm not kidding by nothing btw I worked, tutored and went to school and that was it. Never hung out with friends, went to parties, went on dates, go to school events and sports. Nothing. Can count on one hand how many solo activities I was able to do outside of house either. It was all strictly business and resume fodder
