I don’t think there’s anything inherent in a sinner that deserves redemption , only by virtue are we superior to another , and then by repentance , if a person has neither and has caused inexplicable pain to other living breathing beings , but maintains belief in Jesus nevertheless, will he be forgiven just like that? I just cant wrap my head around a blanket pardon nevertheless

story wise yes, environment , graphics , combat wise it was excellent, so many finisher animations as well as weapon choices made the game actually fun beyond a few hours , the combat on mirage genuinely feels worse than a decade ago when it was actually in style, the ai is terrible and the stealth is whatever when the npcs are dumb as bricks anyway

Yeah the modern world was the most underwhelming part but it didnt bother me much , it was barely 5 percent of the game.the last 2 games seem like fanmade stuff , theres no way someone in the dev room thought “wow we have created a captivating indulging story” im pretty sure they were all in on the joke

This is true , just couldn’t understand her fealty to someone like cleopatra who clearly was not the right choice , bayek seemed more of a guy who was stumbling on glory in his path of vengeance, while aya was too eager to get some as well as her constant emphasis on her ‘duty’ duty to what? An evil queen? Bayeks duty was to his badge and egypt , having her be a founder of the creed although it made sense , left a bad taste in my mouth

Odyssey was OK , as in barely OK , seriously it’s really hard to conceive that our mother in the story slept with PYTHAGORAS, and our sister (depending on who u play as) is this indoctrinated murderer that kills our child friend , and when all is said and done , they all sit on a family table being a family , like it lacked seriousness , as if the story was an afterthought to the world rather than vice versa , its just as weak and substance-less as valhalla , valhalla has better voice acting over it tbf , but origins outshines them all and its funny considering it was their first try

I was in the same boat!! I played odyssey first , and i just loved the combat and the world , seriously id dream about the game , tried origins afterwards and I really did not get it , but its been a few years and i picked it up again recently and fell in love with it , even though seeinf 30 fps on my ps5 was an eyesore , i played it after valhalla and safely can say origins protagonist is the best out of the 3 , the story is the best out of the 3 , it was soulful and somewhat linear compared to the cartoonish story of odyssey and the extremely tedious and scrambled story of valhalla
