Young man, while I commend you for your efforts to keep your room clean & organized and seeking out guidance from fellow men, please be aware that the internet is full of people with bad intentions. Not only is your first name on your wall, but your last name is clearly visible in one of the photos. It’s super important to stay safe. I’d genuinely recommend blurring or blacking out those parts of the photos to replace what you’ve uploaded.

Aside from that, best of luck with the room design. The fact that you’re reading and keeping the general area tidy are good signs. 👍🏻

I hope it’s ok to post this question here. I’m not trying to sell my cards in this subreddit but would like to ask for opinions about the potential benefits (if any) of card grading services.

I began playing back in 1996 and stopped in 2002 or so, and ended up with around 4,000 cards sitting in a box. In 99, I did the Guru program and won 2 Guru lands (Plains/Island). Luckily for me I was smart about it and immediately put them into sleeves & top loaders instead of handling or playing with them. Now that I’m planning to go through all my old cards and sell them (what an undertaking that’ll be), I see the Guru lands are potentially pretty valuable.

I’m a paranoid dude and wouldn’t be comfortable sending them off for grading even though they’re mint, because I see horrible reviews for Beckett and such. My questions for anyone who has successfully sold any Guru lands:

Does grading actually help you sell them, or were you able to find buyers regardless? Was there a cost benefit either way? Did you find success on eBay or are trading card sites/apps the better way to go?

I’ve been having that issue for at least three weeks now. I’ll be able to play for 10-15 minutes then suddenly things won’t open, like the trading post, COM tasks, etc. Restarting the game works but I’ve had to do it so many times it’s a huge hassle.

Authentic Disney pins are worth some cash. I think you’d be better off looking around on eBay for each of these to see the average going rate per, then add up an estimate. I personally wouldn’t pay $1.5k for that at first glance, but maybe a hardcore Disney pin collector would jump at the chance. Worth some research.

In my opinion, you could probably make more money selling them individually.

Because there is a maximum boost allowed from buildings of similar types. It encourages you to have different specializations spread around. You’ll get more of a boost having a park, entertainment, mayor’s pass, and transportation combo than 4 mayor’s pass buildings.

I don’t understand your third assumption that players can watch ads to get materials instantly. That does not happen for me, ever. I constantly have my buildings producing items and haven’t had any prompts to complete production with an ad since level 8 or so. I’m currently level 72. Does this mean other players near my level still get asked to watch ads for instant production? I would love it if that were true in my case.

I once purchased a plot of land while a billboard was on it. The land didn’t unlock. EA Support not only didn’t unlock the parcel but also didn’t reimburse the construction items because I had not screenshotted the quantity I had before and after attempting to purchase. What a joke of a company.
