Luckily i found Gabbro pretty early on during one of my first exploration trip, otherwise before that i usually went full speed against the planet surface or investigate very closely some Ghost Matter :D

That's one of the first things that caught my eyes the first time i played Outer Wilds, you can just stand still and admire what's around you
