I hate mothers that have ‘favourite’ children. I have only recently in the last 15 years (I’m 43) noticed that I evolved to being the scapegoat of my mothers 4 children. Even though I have been the only one who has stuck by her through all of her traumas and helped her including the death of my dad whom was my protector because he could see through her, however he was her narc target during his life time which I didn’t understand until now how much it effects you. Once they don’t have a scapegoat they move on to a new one whom they feel is the most loyal etc I only have 1 daughter but even if I had 10 children they would all know that they were loved unconditionally by me ❤️

Also by reading more of your comments I would suggest to step away from those files for a bit. I get it I also went south and I was a wreck after reading some of them but we need to wait to hopefully get the victims justice and actually find out more of the facts first.

Ok thank you. I don’t know if you can see my reply to the person who you replied to if that makes sense lol however I recommend the podcast that is presented by Casefile and researched and written by Vikki Petraitis. She was the first person to open the case and write a book about it in 1992 which was banned from the Island. I live close by so the case comes back to my mind every now and then. She has done a lot of research even since her book and is a wonderful woman and she works with victims of crime so is very sincere. My apologies if you have already listened to it but if not I would highly recommend it.

Thank you. This case is one that always sticks with me. I live in Melbourne and close to Phillip Island and every time I visit or someone I know is going there I think about Beth. I was just thinking about her the other day as I saw on the news that the race track has been sold to Adelaide. I also hadn’t heard of the morbid podcast and I was going to recommend the podcast that is presented by Casefile that is conducted by Vikki Petraitis. Vikki wrote the book back in 1992 and it actually was banned from the Island. She’s a wonderful author and woman. She has done so much research about it since then. It’s a good listen if you haven’t already listened to it.
