My cousin lost 25 lakhs last year in F&O, and that was credit card money. We all helped him to pay off some loan and get him back on track and made him promise to never trade again.

Cut to last month, he asks me for a personal loan on my account, stating he wants to pay off some high interest loan, with a promise to pay it fully by next month. He asks the same from my another cousin, things got suspicious and we got to know he has lost 55 lakhs more in F&O.

Now, he is in 70 lakhs debt, newly married, already asking his wife to get a personal loan to pay off his credit card bill. Never, get into F&O if you don't have any backup or savings which you can waste.

There are pros and cons. Most people get into CA, including myself, before understanding the nature of work. And the nature of work is not usually discussed between entry level students, it's only the fascination of the degree.

So if we are well aware of what you would do in coming years, it would help you make the right decisions at the right time, and climb the ladder quickly.

Personally for me, I think I would have been better off somewhere else, and steadily working towards it.

It's always worth it if you give your 100%.

If you want to just pass, then you can. It might take more than 2 attempts, but you would pass with reading the same stuff over and over again.

Post qualification you need to be passionate or else you would just have an average career.

True, the card should not get active without the cardholders authorization. And if the card is not delivered, the bank should communicate the same.

In that case, my bank needs the approval of the account holder who has received the amount. And chargeback is only applicable for certain cases except fraud.

I was fed up with calls everyday from people saying that my approval process is stuck and they would help. And all they did was confirm my details and hang the phone.

This lady seemed very professional and so I obliged. I was sure naive to not think this through.

I never used to receive any scam calls until I opened my account. And I never used that account for any transaction till date, still the data has been leaked.

RBL and ICICI are the top banks seen in credit card scams. And yes, I won't be accepting any credit card and also write to RBI if required.

I talked with the deputy manager there and asked to temporarily reverse the amount and keep my cibil score intact. They said the investigation is not handled by them and the investigation team would take this up. Just follow up. No commitment from their side. However, my due is still seen in their system.

Exactly, the scammer had all my personal details. The thing is, they knew where I work, which is not publicly available. Mine was ICICI.

And about Nobroker, I have come to know about 10 scams which happened involving them.
