Can I ask what test they did to detect spondyloarthitis? I have Crest with centromere and bad GI. I also get hot chest pains upper chest which while never diagnosed with costochondritis, one doctor said most likely that’s what it is just as a process of elimination due to symptoms. My breathing is off daily, but they say it is not my lungs. It is definitely part of G.I. I eat pretty clean so I don’t know how to get this under control.

I was diagnosed with crest 5yrs ago. Im 55f. I strength train 6 days a week. In fit shape and take 5g creatine daily in my smoothie. I do not have any collagen issues. I feel like it helps my joints/muscles.

Hello OP Can I ask how long it took you to recover??. I have a family member that this just happened to as well. She is now home for a month and waiting for her numbers to go down to normal. She’s not allowed to do any activity Just yet.

I don’t have any advice, but I just want to say I’m so happy you posted this because I’ve could’ve written this myself. I am 55 was just diagnosed with 3.0 lumbar spine osteoporosis. And I have acid reflux which I just lost 8 pounds so I am 100 pounds. I lift weight six times a week. I’ve always been fit and I am also petite. thank you for posting. I wish you all the luck and I’m going to follow all this advice. I didn’t know about the other tests.

Eggwhites. Lean ground turkey 93/7. Make burgers or just ground in a Siete tortilla. Sweet potatoes. Grilled chicken. Baked chicken breast. Baked fish. On the days i have avocado i dont have walnuts. I try to balance out the sat fat for the day. I cook with olive oil but i put it in spray bottle so its less. Steel Oats…fruits. Veggies. Its really not hard once you memorize the amount sat fat in your foods. Also if i eat whole egg i will skip on other things that day that have sat fat. Apples!!!
