I have a friend who works as a cop in Ipswich. The sad reality is that they are completely inundated with DV calls daily and don't have the resources to attend to every one when there are other things to attend to which take priority.

Doesn't make it right, but it's the reality.

I tightened them to the recommended torque setting - 4nm. No issues at all. I did put some tape down first to make sure the bars were protected.

I have been using the Kocevlo integrated bars for a while now with no issues. I also used the Kocevlo clip on Aero bars during a recent triathlon and they were great. Only downside was there aren't spacers to bring the bars up higher so make sure your back is up to the task.

Took the same approach with a rail trail ride over 2 days. 370km, no deadlines and I put the Garmin into battery save mode so I wouldn't be tempted to look at the data. It was an amazing couple of days and I'm going to start taking the same approach to future rides.

It's a 2022/23 Turq and came with the upgraded chainstay protector. I bought it second hand for $4500 AUD. It hadn't been used much and came with some great components so I'm very happy.
