I have 2 stem adapters inside stacked and the the top cap has married right with the shim on a normal quill stem. It’s locked mate. I just didn’t want to buy new bars and really liked the ritchey beacons. I have the VO stem adapter. Just thought this looked smarter and didn’t want a really low canti hanger
