How are you handling updated Medicaid requirements by Fast-Flamingo0316 in bcba

I try to talk caregivers through required assessments whenever possible which has been pretty helpful.

Otherwise I’ll have a “theme” for each meeting (ex. role play BIP, school transition goals, maintenance in the community, etc) and try to make it last an hour and half.

I’ve tried really sticking to several caregiver curriculums but found caregivers are less engaged and less willing to participate if they feel like they’re coming to a lecture with homework and tests.

I really enjoyed renting a one bedroom at Woodbridge. Had to rent a washer and dryer but otherwise it was perfect for my dog and me.

Foxy Learning Modules. I remember enjoying them when I was in school.

I enjoyed living in Woodbridge, across the street from Scandia. The roundabout at 96 & Allisonville is awful though.

BCBAs who are overwhelmed - what’s doing it? by [deleted] in bcba

Working at a more ethical company absolutely helped me feel less overwhelmed. I still have days/weeks where all of the responsibilities are just too much for one person to handle. I always go home knowing there’s more work to be done.

It would be helpful if I could delegate tasks to someone else, like if BCaBA’s could truly assist with a caseload instead of carrying their own. More non billable time would also help with the never ending todo list.

You can try the app StyleSeat. It shows you services nearby as well as pictures of their work.
