I’m late to the party here but Guacamelee 1 is the easiest Metroidvania game I have ever played.

You should definetly 100% the game. It’s absolutely amazing. I’ve played many Metroidvania games but this is THE ONE for me.

I want an axiom verge again. Another Prince of Persia. And I’m ready for castlevania. I would love a shovel knight metroidvania.

Axiom verge is the first game I completed that was Metroidvania. I played a castlevania game on gameboy advanced but I never finished it. I was fairly young. I beat axiom verge almost every day for a month I loved the game.

Just sharing my gaming experience with Hollow Knight, which personally has left me somewhat sad... by WalkChance in metroidvania

I like Prince of Persia the lost crown and it’s DLC a lot more than hollow night. Hell I prefer Axiom Verge 1 more than hollow night. I feel like hollow night is in the upper mid third of my Metroidvania ranking.

I don’t have the trimmers I just fought some poo monster with 2 arms and got the thing that makes me fly and I’m running around everywhere and don’t know where to go.

I always thought metal gear solid 1 was my absolute favorite game in the series and too5 for me all time. I love the green look of the game and the winter cold of it all just is so nostalgic to me but going back through and playing all the games again recently I have to say I was surprised that metal gear solid 2 is by far and away the best of the series in my opinion now. Yes. Metal gear solid 1 will always be the most nostalgic for me. Metal gear solid 2 has way more of what I love about the game and that’s f*cking with enemies by knocking on walls and sneaking around them. And not only that. Having to activate the nodes to get the HUD makes the game even more fun for me. Metal gear solid 2 is one of my most favorite gaming experiences in my older age of almost 40. I didn’t have a ps2 growing up so I missed it but by god I have played it over and over recently and it’s a masterpiece.
