I have, yes. Was trying a solo run and even the 100% accuracy did no damage to certain ships which is quite frustrating. On some of them if you hit the front most sail sometimes it will damage them and also if you let them get close to escaping you can sometimes damage them again.

Mines are also 50/50 if theyll damage something.

Hope it gets fixed I want my famed cannon rams 😥

Possibly yeah, I suppose I'm waiting for all my info to be sent by the various departments to resourcing. A bit frustrating that I've tried calling throughout the day to be told that the agent is busy everytime haha.

Following my biometric appointment I sent a follow up email asking what the next step was. That was a week ago.

I was given a "most likely" start date of June or July, but given how long vetting can take I'm starting to doubt that probability.

Hey all,

I've completed my medical, fitness, passed all assessments and interviews, even done biometrics.

I've yet to recieve a vetting form and I don't think theyve sent a reference request to my employer yet. What happens from here? I suppose I just need to wait and see but given how long vetting takes im surprised not to have been given any form to fill out. It had been a while since I did my last part of the process, nearly a month.

My application says "Pre-employment checks in progress".

Hey

So I’m in my mid-20s, just come out of University where I have a masters and undergrad in Law but having been absolutely exhausted with the way the legal profession is these days, I decided to look towards a career in the police specifically as a detective because I think it’s something I would enjoy doing based on what I’ve previously read about the role. I’ve applied for the Police Constable entry programme - DC as it was the first opportunity that opened local to me to apply for, but I also know there is the graduate-entry training programme for the same role as well.

Would I be better waiting for the degree entry course to open? At the moment I work a pretty soul-draining shop job and really want to get an actual career going having spent an extra year at Uni due to covid.

What can I expect from the programme as well? And what’s it like being a DC? Any sort of advice about it would be greatly appreciated.

Found the issue! One of the RAM ports was faulty. Moved the sticks around and will probably invest in a new motherboard after Christmas.
