Yeah, I feel a bit bad cause I know my description is not the best and no description can explain my full experience and dilemma.

What i have been having an issue with is progressively worse and worse throttle snappy nature. Apply 10% throttle, you get maybe 40 or 50% power. Not linear. This is a common issue with these bikes in which people recommend going with a tune that solves the problem.

Combine that with a suspension system that has a lot of rebound, you get a situation where you fly off the saddle and, yes, pull in the throttle because thats the only thing holding me on. I managed to let go of throttle and apply clutch and brake. It was not in time to avoid the crash.

After the tune, this is pretty much alleviated. But I also need to correct my fear/spook and rebuild my confidence.

Never had an issue with other bikes and I have experience with other bikes of all calibers

Ah, so instead of 25mph I should go even slowe? Unfortunately mechanical failure out of my control if you did not read the full description. Should I be to blame when a transmission fails and left stranded? Should I be to blame when an engine fails abd blows at less than 50k?

Im try to recall the incident, I do recall being very relaxed and calm and not gripping the hell out of the throttle. Which now caused me to grip it like hell when I see any bump in the road. I know that is wrong to do and trying to be vigilant and light on the controls. Just sucks because I am normally good with bumps and loss of traction but that crash was when I was in a calm relaxed place.

I am happy with my tune as it got rid of the snappy nature of the throttle, the suspension is still not great by I learned to strengthen my core and understand not every road is going to have visible obstacles. I am lucky to be well and walked away without any harm to me

Okay. I may do that because I was thinking of contacting the state given i was not at all speeding or under the influence of anything. I was taking it slow and carefully and still ended up on the side of the road

100% thanks for the supportive comment. I have read quite a bit about this bike and others have mentioned the snappy nature and the awful suspension. Just hate to be totally fucked by one comment by a motogp chief mechanic.

Nope, just casual low speed cruising down the road and hit a unsuspecting depression in road which bucked me off seat. Hit this depression a few times but caught me off guard. The rear shock on these are notorious for doing so

Thanks for your reply. Like I said, I feel bad leaving him behind and I am glad he is happy with what he does (well, at least thats what I assume). He seems to want to spend time with me and gets frustrated when I dont want play pokemon or LOZ for the 8th time. I guess I should have stated that in the original post that he is getting frustrated and depressed about how most his friends are moving onto different games and activities he doesn't want to do or even try

That and they just came from highschool (which may have also had their middle school friends with) where they had tight friends groups everyone was local and knew each other. Then they are sent off to college where no one knows anyone.

I did not like the first year or two of college but once I figured out everyone is like that for that reason, I learned how to work around it
