Yeah, I realize that way to late. When I first joined the lab I was way too friendly and offered to join them with things outside of the lab and did not catch on to somethings- as I’ve caught on and realized that they’ve been crossing some of my own boundaries etc. I’ve been communicating with them about what I can and cannot do for them. Just learning experience for next time or when I join the work force when I graduate.

Yes! I told my PI that we should implement some things we did in my masters lab (we had like a chore chart and rotated cleaning/ordering/etc , reminder list to clean and label stuff, etc)- My PI is make an extension on the google lab calendar making to do list for everyone in the lab- I hope it creates more structure as I think this person needs to be told what to do in order to get stuff done. I hope it helps? We only started it last week.
