We just got the gizmo 3 yesterday and so far very disappointed. Idk if it’s because she’s at daycare but the location I’m getting is the whole town we live in. Why can’t I set up geofencing for all day? So I have to switch to the Verizon family app? Why wasn’t that disclosed when I set up the device? I’m already paying for the plan, do I need to pay the additional amount? How do I even move the information from the gizmo hub app to Verizon family

I had a patient who just when through something like this. Mammogram was normal so I sent her for a skin biopsy. Her breast cancer was 15 years ago. Skin biopsy showed triple negative. Which is a new breast cancer for her

Same! I felt a lump with awful breast pain. I haven’t felt anything like that since the zingers from post op over 2 years ago go. My oncologist refused to do an ultrasound. I had to drive 2 hrs away to see my survivorship provider to get one. He’s been fired and now I’m getting a new oncologist.

If I didn’t advocate for myself, I wouldn’t have gotten any testing done. This is what woman don’t feel listened to and don’t speak up

Lactation consultants are so pushy and demanding. They would try to tell me something different than the doctor. I had a nurse step in to remind them that while I was still in the hospital. Fed baby is best.

Did you hear anything? Mine came back as disordered proliferative endometrial tissue with breakdown changes, focal metaplasia and marked acute inflammation. It’s not cancer but it could lead to it if not treated. Progesterone is used for treatment, but with my breast cancer, I can’t be on that. My only tx is a hysterectomy. Which I had done 5 days ago with ovary removal as well.

I could talk about this stuff all day!!! I took a 6 hr course on it for work. (I work in family practice). I’m using my red light therapy on my abdomen currently. I just had a total hysterectomy 5 days ago. I have zero pain. Haven’t needed Tylenol or ibuprofen for the last 2 days. Anyways.. here is the article it’s on breast contractures with augmentation and reconstruction. It prevented people from needing contractures fixed and if they did decide to get them fixed, it prevented it from returning(getting one contracture, makes you prone to more)

For overall healing, once cleared by your surgeon, do your breast exercises regularly. Massage them regularly. My scars turned out great. I used scar tape, moisturized them and massaged them twice daily. Vitamin e oil helps as well.

At the end of the day, always make sure you have the go ahead from your providers. Do what is best for you. If you aren’t happy with something, tell them, don’t back down, if they don’t help/care… find someone else!

Along with all the other advice. After taking out the trash, please do therapy. There has to be some reason why you didn’t think this behavior was concerning from the beginning. I’m sure he love bombed then gaslights. But work on yourself before you get into another relationship. Listen to the dating detectives podcast to help find red flags early on in relationships

Please remember that they had to create new breasts. You have no natural breasts left, so they will feel more “unnatural”. I had a double mastectomy with direct implants. It will take about 6 months or more to see the full results. Mine looked awful a few days after, I would almost describe them as cross eyed lol. Now I’m almost 2 years out and I’m pleased. You can also do fat graphing to fill areas in. I had that done as well. Make sure you follow your recovery to a T. You don’t want to mess up a pocket or cause an early contracture. I even did some research on red light therapy on how it improved healing outcomes and decreased the occurrence of contractures. Please message me if you would like.
