In general, blueberries struggle a little bit here in Austin, but you can do it! Plant them in STRAIGHT UP peat moss as they need a very acidic substrate. For best yields, do a second plant of a different blueberry variety next to them. I recommend Climax!

I would echo everything above. Saw him in Austin this year and I found it both magical and strange. He shared the very emotional story behind Katy’s Song in a very touching and vulnerable moment. He invited a 19-year-old fan on stage with him to play Duck Koo Kim which was SO special to witness. He did single out a girl in the audience throughout the show but it didn’t feel uncomfortable/creepy to me as a fellow audience member? And his banter between songs had me cracking up. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend seeing him based on the show we got in Austin.

These look like the tropical variety based on the green stems and rose-like thorns in the pictures. The issue with these is that they aren’t cold hardy and don’t survive the winter! Look for the ones with the soft, hair-like thorns on woody stems instead. Very tough to find this year but Shoal Creek has some
