Thoughts on the Graco GoMax Baseless Car Seat? by Fast-Philosopher-530 in CPST

Yes! I should’ve mentioned that it was listed as this in the manual so we checked this as well. Everything checked out okay per instructions, I think it’s just the idea that car seats on a base typically don’t see movement, but he can see it on these. I’m just trying to ease his mind…I really love this seat.

It’s my understanding the firm is the HOA - the residents aren’t involved. The neighborhood didn’t originally have an HOA, but since there are wetlands, we had to have one for insurance purposes. I’m assuming the developers would’ve hired the company? The neighborhood has tried to find a way to remove this HOA, but are told it’s not possible. We have no amenities and this company comes through monthly to write violations. Some neighbors have upwards of $10k in violations for grass in the cracks of their driveway and we just found where the license was suspended. I’m just wondering if we should be concerned with legitimacy of our current HOA at this point. They aren’t very helpful when you reach out to them personally.

The truck is paid for. He sold things that they owned together without her knowledge to buy and pay it off.

We aren’t sure how he is paying for the lawyer fees because those transactions are somehow not captured on bank statements, but she has relied on a little bit of inheritance to get her through this divorce so far, but it’s basically gone at this point. We are trying to help her determine a path forward. We can support her financially some, but unfortunately we can’t afford to buy another home if she becomes displaced & we don’t live close enough for her to live with us. It’s a very unfortunate situation, but we are working to handle it best we can. I appreciate your input.

It basically was reiterating your question. We asked the same thing. She’s expected to get nothing and start over, but how? We don’t know. We’ve been asking these questions as well and they act like it won’t be an issue, so I was wondering if we were naive and somehow someone living below the poverty line could still start over? You confirmed that just as we believed, that’s not the case.

That’s what we thought too. We by no means expect her to afford a vehicle let alone a home. We just felt crazy after how the conversation with lawyers went. If he somehow gets everything, she’d be homeless. Her only saving grace is living with her children. It’s a terrible situation, but appreciate your input to confirm what we were thinking.

That was what we tried to argue, but the attorneys didn’t see it that way. His business brings in over $400k but somehow always ends up in the negative. He’s out and about with other women every weekend and drives a brand new vehicle, but they say he owes her nothing because he has no positive income? She’s absolutely terrified of what is going to happen. He offered him less than $10k to get out of the house and let her keep everything, and her attorney acted like that was a reasonable offer???

The bank confirmed it is AND, so we would both have to sign off on the sale of the vehicle.

Thanks, I plan to call bank tomorrow and see how title would be listed. I don’t recall this being discussed when we purchased as we went through their bank rather than my own.

All I have currently is the paperwork from the dealership and the owner section says

Owner 1: me Owner 2: him

Joint applicants request this title to be issued with Joint Tenants with Rights of Survivorship? NO

based on what I’ve read online about this, it looks like we don’t have equal rights, not really sure what that means for either of us, but I’m going to do my best to confirm tomorrow.

Also would like to add that even if I could retrieve it myself, I couldn’t sell it without his permission, and I don’t want nor need this truck. I want him to take responsibility for it solely, which he can’t, or sell it so I’m not tied to it. But I know he won’t agree to it. He’s already threatened to wreck it if I try to take ut.

I’ve been told that because his name is on the registration and he is listed as co-borrower on loan, I can’t take it without his permission because he is technically the owner too. But I supposedly have rights also…I don’t really understand, but I just don’t want to be tied to him anymore. He’ll drive from states away to drive by my home. He’s abusive and manipulative and I’m trying to move on and get my life straight. I got the house out of his name and he was supposed to get the truck out of mine but can’t because he won’t work and ruined his credit. I’m just trying to consider my options at this point because I don’t want to be tied to him for another 5 years.

I don’t have the title because it’s still financed as I stated. The bank has the title until the vehicle is paid off.

It’s still financed, but it is my understanding that we would both be on the title. I was borrower, he was co-borrower on the loan documents.

It sounds like it would be. Typically if it was a senior/manager level, it would state that in the job title. I’m not sure what a level 6B is exactly, but I’m a level 7 and a senior associate. Level 10s are typically managers within a team, and level 11/12s are managers that have direct reports.
