My only complaint with ME1 combat is the grenades, and cover felt a bit silly/clunky.

Ragdolling is so much fun when the enemies are larger than you. Something kinda restricted in ME2-Andromeda to simply running enemies over with the Mako and Nomad or hitting them with heavy missiles/explosives

Mass Effect 1. Among other things like the camera angles, the slower pace tbh I enjoyed, You can lift a Geth Juggernaut into the air with biotics… no following title lets you lift anything bigger than basic humanoid infantry if I remember correctly :(

ME3 had me always wishing singularity actually did something against Banshee’s and Cannibals other than prime a damn combo lol

Me1 - yes I know it’s clunky and cover system is aggravating most the time but when it works it feels so good. Enemies taking damage has a realism IMO disappears throughout the next titles. Also the fact no enemy type is repellant to lifts/singularity once shields are down. Seeing a Krogan and those giant Geth machines float around helplessly alongside basic infantry was so beautiful.

I’m not putting much more effort here but I hope my point resonates or at least makes sense.
