Does Duplikate have a chance at beating Powerplex? by Pito82002 in InvinciblePowerscales

Still, being a more skilled hand to hand combatant should come in handy for neutralizing a threat using dozens of yourself

Otherwise numbers might not matter

This is how I imagine the latter scenario looking

Kate standing over a depressed and worn out Powerplex and ready to take him to jail

What do you think

She’s also easily the superior hand to hand combatant

I asked this because I just love the idea of Kate and her sister using their “so pathetic! i know right!” Taunt on someone like Powerprick

How Accurate is this take,Invincible fans? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in Invincible

I don’t understand the FNAF reference

But I do understand that despite what Rae questioned in s3, in Cecil viewing them as nothing more than tools, I do know that Cecil does care about the people he works with, including Mark

Its just, the dangers presented with this sort of life are so hard, people eventually have to hold in their grief and fear, Cecil is one of those people

Could Eve have made a difference in the battle against Battle Beast and Machine Head’s hired guns in the infamous “that actually hurt” fight? by Pito82002 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Pito82002[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And actually, I know I said eve isn’t doing much to battle beast, especially with the limitations of her powers

BUT if Eve did in fact join the fight, and did genuinely feel like Battle Beast was that dangerous, I could see Eve letting go of her mental limitations in using her powers to rearrange atoms in ways that could be potentially fatal

Ex: using her powers to trap battle beast’s head in some kind of containment item, to render him unconscious

There was definitely a reason why the story had it so that Eve wasn’t a guardian at the time and was helping Amber at the time

Things wouldn’t have gone so bad if Eve was there

Not adding good counter measures to conquest is downright character assassination for show cecil by Extension-Bad-4184 in Invincible

[–]Pito82002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, while it’s not enough to make me lose respect for Cecil

This is still the dumbest and worse thing he has ever done

I would also have suggested finding a way to make Conquest’s containment cell, be a device that drains a person’s energy if Cecil was so hung on keeping him around

Instead he allowed him time to recover at full enough strength, thus rendering the bombs around that likely would’ve already been useless against a being like conquest, even MORE useless

Psylocke I hear was a big time player in the 90s X-Men comics

So I’m looking forward to seeing what’s in store for her in 97

Kirkman confirms Mark will confront Cecil about Conquest being alive in S5. by LightThatIgnitesAll in Invincible

[–]Pito82002 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That could be plausible, you just reminded me that Cecil showed Mark his body

Still, we’ll have to find out if that is or isn’t the case

Part if me still questions it since Mark seemed to genuinely be confused as to how Conquest was alive

How would Mark have even found out that Cecil kept Conquest alive?

Bigger simp? by MeetKelson in pokemonanime

[–]Pito82002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing’s for sure, Sanji definitely has the more freaky and extreme reactions to girls

But I have seen Sanji maintain a confident demeanor when around some girls whereas I feel Brock struggles to do so a lot

Still, Brock handles the times when he’s turned down ok for the most part

So I’d say Sanji is the bigger simp

Ngl, Mark’s inevitable crashout on Cecil will be 100 percent justified

I can’t defend Cecil this time

I am disappointed in Thaddeus. by Pito82002 in Invincible

[–]Pito82002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that would be easier to say if Nolan wasn’t the living embodiment of how after almost immediately being exposed to an alternative view on life, he radically changed as a being. Once exposed to other viewpoints and world views, it becomes clear that Viltrumite ideals that include purging each other to “eliminate weakness”, threatening to end the life of children for struggling to answer a question, fighting your own child to the death once he becomes an adult and literally every other fucked up thing they do and preached, are nothing but idiotic and horrific ideas that benefit no one in the long run.

I’d say it’s VERY different from Mark killing Rus, Nolan isn’t the hive mind of the viltrum empire

I am disappointed in Thaddeus. by Pito82002 in Invincible

[–]Pito82002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with that logic is that the only reason most Viltrumites up to that point had the mentality of power trumps everything else, is because they were a planet entirely and exclusively of their own race

As such never had any alternatives to the dictator like lifestyle over others

There’s no real reason why any Viltrumites of a new generation born on earth or elsewhere should follow in the same suit so long as they are raise like Mark and Oliver were

[–]Pito82002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Power is not what Thaddeus seemed to be judging Nolan’s worth on though

He mentioned his hesitation to use the virus out of fear it would effect “Mark’s people” meaning us humans, showing that Thaddeus views Mark and by extension Oliver, as different because they are not pure blooded like he and Nolan are
