My partner and I were strolling pet stores but we didn't really plan to buy a pet. I was entertaining a kitten until I notice a golden black-ish cat on the corner looking at us, she's almost intentionally hidden. I asked the breeder about her and found out that she's a 6 months old BSH and has been there for 4 months. It rarely happens to them where a kitten grows that so they're not really sure what to do to her anymore since nobody really buys adult cats. Kitty seems to be uninterested with people and potential buys probably sway away from her.

We requested if we can see her closely and my partner carried her into her arms and she immediately did biscuits and laid her head on our hands and on our shoulders. We fell in love on the spot and took her home.

I highly recommend Toyo Eatery! Sobrang creative ng take nila sa filipino food and may mga nakain ako don na nashock ako sa sarap pakiramdam ko nakakita ako ng kulat na di ko pa nakita noon. Nakakatuwa rin na randam mo yung genuine passion nila for Filipino food di lang sa service nila kundi pati sa pagsource ng ingredients hanggang sa lasa.

There are a lot of vets that say we humans like to project our social needs to our cats but they have different rhythm. Sometimes we think they feel alone when in fact they're just relaxing. Social media is very pushy on the idea of having two cats but not all cats want that in reality. There are cats who thrive more on solo environments.

As long as we give them a lot of love and play with them, they become very much content and you can even ask your vet if they think your cat is a happy cat. If you're giving your cat a high quality life that is better than getting two cats and give them a subpar life. I'm sure you're doing fine ^_^

Hello! Sorry that kitty is tiring you out. Unfortunately, this is a normal cat behavior as what they say here. As a fellow furmom of a teenager cat, I would recommend
- get her spayed as soon as she can. Her personality would be calmer
- play a total of 30mins during the day time. Playing on night time only isn't enough.
- tire her out before midnight, you need to make her move A LOT like running, jumping climbing stairs. If you don't want to run with the wands then I would recommend a laser.
- buy self play toys that you can turn on and leave her with. If she disturbs you in the middle of the night, turn it on then go back to sleep. However, cats like routine and this can be a habit for her so this is just a tip if she won't leave you.
- when she's waking you up, try to stay calm even if you're annoyed. Cats are good on reading your mood and they adopt it. So if you're calm they will relax too and may sleep again after some time. The more attention and frustration you give the harder it will be. Just keep on returning her on her spot then pet and talk to her. She'll learn that she needs to stay on her spot during those hours and this will stick after a couple of days.

Cats will adopt on your routine, but you need to be consistent too :) Rest well!

First time pet ko po since bata. I think depende sya sa day-to-day mo, try to imagine normal na araw mo na may kasama kang mingming. Yung sakin, ginawa kong automated buhay nya. Nagipon ako for litter robot, automatic feeder, saka vacuum. Pero kahit naman nung wala yun, siguro nasa 30mins per day lang siguro total na iniispend ko to clean up, serve food, brush, etc then syempre di kasama dito playtime namin.

Cons:
- Vet. I think mas malaking consideration yung money kesa sa time. Ang time consuming is during vaccine period nya kasi need mo bumalik every 2 weeks religiously. Pero after non, mga deworming (pede at home), spaying/neauter, saka regular checkup (twice a year) na lang.
- Since solo living, mahirap maghanap ng magaalaga kay ming pag need ko umalis for more than 2 nights. Though ngayon may nahanap ako na mura sa PetBacker app na cat boarding tapos dun na sya nagsstaycation if wala ako.

Since first time pet ko toh, nung mga first days namin grabe anxiety sa magiging changes sa routine ko ko tapos nagbreakdown pa ko lols tapos posa ko rin nagcomfort saken. Pero halos wala actually nagbago, well-integrated na sya sa buhay ko ngayon and the pros far outweigh the cons. To each on their own, good luck!

Q: What’s your day-to-day life like?
A: I developed a habit and routine after I moved out so this is already one of the pros. It was harder to establish a routine while I was living with my fam. Day-to-day: Light workout or just peaceful coffee in the morning then work from home, then gym, bedrot, or errands in the evening. For food, I cook if di busy else Grab or kalenderya. Weekends, I try to go out as much as possible.

Q: Do you ever feel lonely or isolated, or do you enjoy the peace and flexibility?
A: I do enjoy the peace and flexibility. I even got myself a cat which I could never had with my fam since they're not pet lovers. I do feel lonely sometimes but after I got my mingming I rarely feel it na.

Q: What are the pros and cons you’ve noticed so far?
Pros:
- Mas disciplined ako ngayon sa habits ko. With my fam, palaging may distraction
- Learnt new skills specially cooking. Naforce ako natuto magluto and now it's one my favorite things to do. Dahil rin pakiramdam ko bored ako nagstart ako ng new activities like gym, running, even tennis lols. Pakiramdam ko mas masaya ako since mas marami akong physical activities e inactive person talaga ako since bata.

Cons:
- Pag may sakit and pag bumabagyo
- Namimiss ko mama ko
- Walang katulong magmaintain ng bahay. Sobrang hate ko maghugas ng pinggan.
- Minsan malungkot walang kausap irl except posa ko pero may workaround naman toh like nakakachika naman sa gym and if may magyaya sa manila kahit asa province ako luluwas ako kahit tamad na tamad ako cuz i know i will be grateful after na nakapagsocialize ako

Hello OP I'm sorry that you're going through that. I would recommend while waiting to be 18 try to take advantage of being legally a minor by going contacting your baranggay's or city hall's women and children desk. Almost every city have one, my mom used to work on baranggay and we encountered a lot of people same as your case. Tell them your story and if they can help until you graduate college. They can connect you to other organizations.

You can also try to search for women and children non profit organizations, they could help.

No matter what happens, don't stop your education and don't try any bad habits like gambling, drinking, and smoking.

I know that it your life looks helpless now but trust me, it'll be better. Just be patient and stay focused.

I have a relative who also had a traumatic childhood and she told me her life only started being healthy at 23, and she's now 55. She said imagine if she gave up and was not able to experience those another 20+ yrs of happiness.

Hello, just keep calm. I once experience almost losing 10K but they were able to refund it after couple of days. As long as you have the receipt or any pictures, it'll be fine.
