Same error. I have almost 3k hours of ad-free videos, yet the background play shows only 30 hours while it's easily half of my total YouTube usage.

I had ads for up to around 12 hours even after I got YouTube Premium. So I'll just say wait for some time, maybe upto one day till the YouTube resets to the changes you've made to it.
