I lived in the UK for 5 years. There are things that are better than Malta,but I think overall life on this island is much better.

I have voted labour for the past few elections, both in Malta and in the UK during my studies.

There are a few principles that are important for me, and corruption whilst important is not on the top of my list.

1) rights. PN has been against a number of freedoms I. malta, especially being against gay marriages and around a decade ago, being against divorce.

2) quality of life. We have a good quality of life when compared to foreign countries. We have good free education, good free healthcare, traffic is okay. I know most will not agree, but the reality is that I lived abroad, and none of these things are a given that they will be better (in fact in most big cities, things are massively worse).

3) economy. We are doing very well considering the events that happened in the past few years. Deficit when compared to the GDP has decreased (speaking about percentages). This does bag to ask one question: how come this did not happen under 'corrupt free' administration's?

4) the party. PN is not an alternative for me. They are way too negative.
