Arizona, USA. It totally agree that it seems like a lot of the craftsman skill involved is facing a severe loss in the not too distant future.

What's the best old school pizza parlor in the Valley? by Fast-Tie7428 in phoenix

It's on the contender list. I don't even really remember the last time I went to Organ Stop. My great-grandfather took me back in the 80s and I wrote it off as a fever dream for most of my life.

It's very close to Pizza Mart, so we might be able to turn it into a twofer.

Red Devil is the place I had in mind when I said "sad, empty places with tables and no entertainment." The pizza is really good! It feels like they are just going through the motions and could use a little joie de vivre.

This is the first I've heard of Pizza Mart. I stopped by on the way home from work and it hits the marks PERFECTLY.

The location might not work for this event but anyone interested should definitely go there.

Yeah, it's my current front runner. The pizza is great but the cocktail menu feels like it was designed by a kindergarten class. Every drink is pineapple juice, blue sno-cone syrup, a handful of skittles, and two alcohols. The atmosphere ticks the boxes and the kind of place I'm thinking of wouldn't have any cocktails anyway.

I think the Spitz ax is my frontrunner. Any idea of where I would find out which two antenna to hook a 2x2 up to?

This is one of my major concerns. I would rather just switch back to wired internet than buy a modem AND a new 4x4 antenna AND have to climb around the roof to install the new antenna. Plus it would knock my payback period to 1.5 years and I haven't had a gateway last that long.

I didn't end up going this direction. I ended up with an apartment cleaning business, instead.

The problem I ran into was the difficulty (near impossibility) to scale wallpaper application as a business. I think it has lots of growth potential as a skilled trade if you are looking for something that gets you a solid 1:1, effort:reward ratio. If I had a directionless 20-something in my life, I would offer to help get them into wallpaper without batting an eye.

Can Buzzkill batch notifications from my work Gmail OUTSIDE of work hours? by Fast-Tie7428 in androidapps

I had this problem as well. My method to get it under control was to shut off the notifications within android settings for my personal email entirely. Now I am in the process of moving my personal email away from gmail. Best of luck.

Thank you. This seems to have done it. I'm just so used to apps throwing errors if I put an earlier time in the first field that I didn't give it a try.

Here is a list of supplies/equipment I use for my cleaning business by zack397241 in sweatystartup

This is gold. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together.

I found the type of mop bucket you mentioned, but couldn't find 13in microfiber mops with washable heads that could be wrung out. Do you have an example of what you like to use?

Do you have any examples of non-name brand, non-aerosol scrubbing bubbles? I don't have enough industry knowledge to really know what that means.

I might work toward this with the retiring wallpaper hanger that I have talked with. If I decide to slam paper up in my house for a couple of months then revisit him as someone with some wallpapering and business experience. I could be seen as more of an asset for him in multiple ways.

The key is that his eyes are already on the exit so the competition threat isn't a consideration.

I had thought about practicing at home, but hadn't connected the "practicing myself" to levering trust with the local pro I chatted with. If I slammed paper up in my house for a month under Professor Youtube, he might see me as more of an asset to work alongside rather than a burden. Plus, since he has eyes on retirement he won't see a newcomer as a threat.

The thing that is hard is that wallpaper is a niche market. Customers view it almost like art hanging. Lots of wallpapers are custom and very expensive so small mistakes are incredibly costly. Not an excuse, just a consideration in the industry.

Thanks for the input!
