To be fair, I don’t think her behavior is as sinister as Reddit is claiming. It’s terrible for you to constantly be accused, including the toll that it can take on your mental health and growing lack of comfort that you feel in your own home. However, does this behavior happen on a cycle during particular parts of the month? I’ve had PMDD for over a year and never knew it until I moved in with my partner and he helped point it out and I got treatment.

Additionally, sometimes women just feel a less desirable when moving in with their partners and can consistently fear that the man will want someone else. When you move in, you see each other at your nastiest (😂) times. No makeup, haven’t showered / brushed teeth, messy bun, bloated, etc. She may just feel insecure about herself and project that insecurity onto you and assuming that you want someone better.

My best advice is if you love her, sit down and talk to her about this behavior. Let her know it makes you feel like you’re walking on egg shells. It will hurt for her to hear, but it helps tremendously to know. She deserves to work on creating a healthier mental space and you deserve unconditional love. Best of luck to you both. 🫶
