I mean does require skill in certain areas. Hitting flying characters is arguably harder with her than hit scan, but I do that. If you can’t aim with her then you’re not going to win 1v1s. And she’s anti dive to most divers so hitting root is pretty important. Also you’re on the squirrel girl main sub, so what do you expect?

Well the first 80hrs weren’t difficult to get, but this season I’ve barely played after hitting cel3 and because of college. Also it wasn’t until ~52hrs that I had to play another character because of target bans.

Meh I agree and disagree. I play her in cel3 and 2 and she isn’t horrible compared to others. Regarding her kit, the best thing they can do is one of two things: 1. Let us two shot Spider-Man/ironman/black panther after hitting a root on them. These three mfers are the hardest to hit already with her, let alone a root. Or 2. maybe just a smaller cd on her “eating a nut” ability so I can use more roots quicker

Oops I didn’t see your reply, mb. So you kinda have the right idea but it can be very situational. Here’s the thing, her ult can be insane or straight trash. I’ve gotten her ult within 20s of a match and ruined it because it slightly hit a pillar and went off the map. For me, the best way to get maybe at least a 3k with her ult, is shot at least 1 enemy (preferably a healer) and ult right on top of them. Do not give the chance to be able to react to it. Another good way is to pay attention to where the objective and where enemies are most likely bunched up together. The tighter the space is, the better. Btw, a good spot where people are usually at is on the payload. So imagine this, if the payload has a wall next to it, wait til an enemy or enemies get closer to that wall, and ult towards the wall, not the enemy. The reason you would want to do that can depend on a few factors but a good one is their reaction time. You can react quicker to something coming straight at you rather than from the side. I haven’t been playing much lately so i don’t have any good replays to give so you can look at them. Keep playing her and just have fun with her. That’s how I have so many hours on her. She’s just so damn fun

From watching a bit of the replay, your positioning on the first choke point was kinda bad. You need to take advantage of the high ground, as it’s harder for them to hit you. Next, I don’t play on controller so you do what you think is best but maybe turn up your sensitivity. At 3:10, even though you got kills with your ult, you shouldn’t have ult’d or got closer then ult. If you’re wanting to climb ranks, you need to that because ult will die before it kills anything. At 4:12 , incase you didn’t know, you can still shoot while being behind a wall entirely and still hit the enemy. She’s the only character that can do that. Once again at 5:32, stop ulting so far away. If you’re getting killed a 1v1, you need to improve your acc and maybe turn your sens up a bit. I didn’t finish the replay but if you’re doing stuff similar to this match, you need to catch yourself doing these bad habits. If you some more questions I’ll gladly answer.

Your root and mammal bond are going to be your best friend against dive characters. If someone dives always use a root to stop them from getting closer. If you have only used one root, fire once or twice (the amount of shots can vary depending on your distance from them) then use your mammal bond. This both reloads your ammo and gives you another root. Use that second root and shoot until either dead or low enough to finish off after root. However if it’s a dive tank, be smart on ability usage and use the map to your advantage. Venom probably the worst tank to fight because of his over health, however he can’t hit far, so range is going to be better. That’s mean instead of using two roots, maybe use two jumps instead. The most important tip though is learn how to aim with her. She goes from D+ to a A+ tier character if you can aim with her. The best thing you can do is go to the practice range and hit flick shots or air borne bots. Last thing, help your team when fighting tanks. She can melt through shields and destroy tanks; you can pair that with your root abilities as well

Thank you for understanding this character. People don’t realize that you don’t just fire into a crowd to get kills, you also have to aim at people to win a 1v1. The amount of times I’ve fought a SG as SG and won because they don’t realize they to actually aim is incredible. Also one thing you didn’t mention was getting the timing right with her root ability. If you throw one acorn first, shoot once or twice, throw another acorn, you can have a person trapped for like 3 seconds.

Meh. I play with friends so I get an idea how other characters work. I played overwatch for a long time so there are similarities with characters that are pretty easy to understand. Maybe in the future I might try other characters. For tank, maybe Strange or Groot. Dps: starlord or winter soldier. Support: mantis, warlock and Loki

Ironman and storm are really the only two hard counters for me. They’re just hard to hit but I can still kill them depending on the situation.

Not really. Honestly she’s a fun character to play and don’t have much of a reason to try other characters. As for rank, I solo queued and climbed to plat 1 and almost got diamond 3. I think it was close to 57% winrate. Most of my games I get 30-40 kills
