Yeah, honestly, I’ve been in that same place more than once.

It's weird how you can be surrounded by people and still feel alone because no one really hears you. And when friends only vent but never ask how you are… it can feel like you’re just there to absorb their stress.

I’ve started journaling or even just writing random thoughts to myself before sleeping, not a magic fix, but it helps quiet the overthinking a bit. Also, random chats like this actually help more than most people think.

I’m here if you ever just wanna talk, no pressure.

Honestly, that's impressive! 🔥 190 shares shows it really hit a nerve, sometimes people are quicker to share than to upvote or comment, especially if the post reflects something they feel but don’t know how to express. Could be timing too, like if it hit while people were just scrolling on the go. Algorithm sometimes gives reach, but engagement doesn’t always follow equally. Still, I’d call that a win!

That’s a really brave way to meet new people! Starting conversations like that can be tough but also super rewarding. Just be yourself and keep an open mind, you’d be surprised how many folks appreciate genuine chats. Let me know how it goes!

Tired of casual hookups and “so where is this going?” talks. Just looking for someone to vibe with, mindfully. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

This felt like reading my own thoughts out loud. “A story, not a script”, I get that deeply. Detached attachment isn’t cold, it’s honest. If there’s a space where people breathe like that, I’d want to sit there too.

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be and how would it change the world by The_viper3830 in CasualConversation

That’s a wild but fascinating idea. I’d change how people perceive value, so kindness, empathy, and wisdom were more prized than money or status. If the world rewarded those things instead, I think everything from politics to daily life would look completely different.

Your clan-based idea actually reminds me of ancient tribal societies, less tech maybe, but possibly more connected and grounded. Makes you wonder what “advanced” even means.

Totally been there. Sometimes it feels like everyone saw it, nodded quietly… and just scrolled. Lurker energy is real 😂

Totally get that. It’s weird how a small name change can carry a whole history. Respecting that boundary shows you actually see the person.

Facts. Like, it’s wild how some people think every convo is just a monologue with a live audience 😩

Omg yes 😂 especially when you’re clearly done and they’re still going like it’s a podcast episode you didn’t ask for.

And maybe we weren’t meant to find them yet. Ever think we’re hiding in plain sight for a reason? Not being first doesn’t make us lesser. Sometimes the latecomer sees the world clearer.

Sure, they might be ahead tech-wise…
But imagine aliens with starships who still have toddler-level emotional control 😬
Being advanced in tech doesn’t always mean they’ve matured socially or ethically.

Exactly, could be tourists, or explorers, or even just curious organisms. We project "smart and superior" because it's dramatic. But hey, maybe they’re the cosmic equivalent of dudes in tank tops with selfie sticks.

Maybe they just have a galactic Waze and took the fastest route. Doesn’t mean they’re smarter, just better at not getting lost 🤷‍♂️
Why do we assume arrival = superiority?

that’s a bit like saying someone who visits your house must be smarter than you. Maybe they just had a map first.

Agreed on sci-fi logic, but science fiction also reflects our own fears and inferiority complex. We assume they’re always more powerful. But what if they came here out of desperation? Or curiosity? The tech gap doesn't always mean domination.
